Chapter 14

Timeskip
(The next day, 6am)

Heeseung's pov

I groaned as I rubbed my eyes, opening them. Chaewon had her legs over mine, snugged close to me. Gorgeous even when she sleeps.

"Princess, wake up"
I tapped her.

She didn't respond. I shook her. Still nothing.

"We have to get up"
I told her.

Her eyes still refuse to open. Then I kissed her forehead. A smile then appeared on her face. She blinked a few times and looked up at me. I smiled back at her.

"Must I do this every morning?"
I asked.

She nodded, removing her legs from me. 

"I'll shower first"
Chaewon said, getting up.

She went ahead and took a shower first while I waited for her. I wanted to discuss our issue after she finishes.

I can't hide our relationship anymore. It's tiring. And besides, I have to show that she's mine. Only mine.

15 minutes later

"You can go shower now"
Chaewon came out of the bathroom.

"Can we talk first??"
I walked to her.

She tilted her head.

"About us?"
I held both her hands. 

"Ohh, sure"
She replied.

I pulled her to sit down on the bed.

"I think I've asked this too many times, but can we not hide our relationship anymore?"
I looked into her eyes softly.

I saw the slight change in her expression.

"Sorry, but I'm tired of not being able to have fun with you in public. Everyone will see us, but so what?"
I asked.

"Again, Heeseung. No one in school knows the other side of me when I'm with you. And what if Miyoung sees us together?"
Chaewon sighed.

"Chaewon, listen. No girl would bother coming after me if they see me with you. This is college, we all have a sense of maturity"
I explained.

"Are you sure?"
She looked at me worried.

I kissed her on the cheek.

"Yes princess. They'll definitely cheer for us instead"
I reassured her.

Chaewon kept quiet, pursing her lips. I just ruffled her hair and went to the bathroom to shower.

Timeskip
(Recess)

The bell finally rang. 

"Let's go"
Hyerin came up to Chaewon.

She was about to stand up but I held her hand. She looked at me confused. 

She tried to uncurl my fingers, but I refused. This was familiar. I put my mouth near her ear. 

"You're walking with me"
I whispered.

We both stood up and we exited the classroom, walking down the hallways. I ignored the side glances we were getting. I then saw Sunghoon come out his class on the way.

"Holding hands in public already??"
Sunghoon pointed at our joined hands.

"I know right?! They left me behind"
Hyerin commented.

I don't bother responding and dragged Chaewon to the cafeteria. I still didn't know why Sunghoon was hanging around her.

We got a few stares as we went to collect our food. We sat down at a table along with the siblings. They almost couldn't stand us.

"Aaa~"
I put a chicken nugget in front of Chaewon, trying to feed her.

She shook her head and pushed ny hand away gently. I brought it back to her mouth.

"Eat it or I'll kiss you right now"
I said softly.

Without hesitation, she ate the chicken nugget. I chuckled.

"You know we're right here.."
Hyerin said.

"And? I do what I want"
I replied.

Chaewon's pov

Heeseung was being so obvious. We're just trying to eat here. He took my hand and suddenly stood up on the bench.

"What are you doing?!"
I whisper-shouted.

He pushed the tray in front of him aside and climbed up onto the table instead.

"Come here"
Heeseung signalled.

"What?"
My forehead creased.

"Get up"
He pulled my hand.

I had no choice but to stand up on the table with him.

"Everyone!! I have something to say, listen carefully"
Heeseung shouted loudly, gaining the attention of everyone.

We were in the limelight with all eyes on us. 

What the hell is he planning?

"This is my girlfriend, Oh Chaewon. Actually, she's my princess. No one is to touch her, get it?"
Heeseung put an arm over my shoulder.

"NO WAYY!"
"THEY'RE A COUPLE!!"
"HEEWON! HEEWON! HEEWON!"

Many people cheered for us. I wasn't used to this kind of attention. I only receive attention for starting an argument or fight.

Not this mushy cheering for me and Heeseung.

My eyes landed on Miyoung who was standing at the corner. I think I could see flames surrounding her. The sight almost made me want to burst out laughing.

"Here's to prove that we're together"
Heeseung said.

He suddenly tilted my chin up and gave me a peck on my lips. My eyes widened as I cupped my mouth.

"WAAAHHH!"
"WOOOO!"

"I told you they'd cheer. You're cheeks are red by the way"
He had a smug look on his face.

"Gosh"
I rolled my shoulders back so his arm could fall off.

I stepped down and sat down back at my seat. Heeseung came beside me right after.

"So, you guys finally talked?"
Sunghoon raised his brows at me.

"What do you mean, talked?"
Heeseung cut in.

"You haven't told him?"
Sunghoon looked back at me.

"What is it?"
Heeseung turned to me.

Now I'm embarrassed to tell him.

"She paid me to hang out with her because she was upset that you pretended to flirt with a chick"
Sunghoon said.

"She wanted to make you mad because someone was jelly"
Sunghoon laughed.

"Ohh, is that true?"
Heeseung moved closer to me.

"N-no"
"Why did you have to say that!"
I averted my gaze to Sunghoon.

"I was just saying it for you"
He looked away.

"So you were jealous, hmm?"
Heeseung poked my cheek.

"Tsk. You're so annoying"
I sulked.

Annoyingly hot.
