When He Proposes To You

(Y/N)'s POV

Another weekend has arrived and I finally get a day off from work especially Hiro since he worked hard and earned a promotion at work. I was happy and had a feeling I should go shopping for groceries. Anyhow, I'm at my home and I just got ready to go out. I'm wearing my usual blouse, shorts and shoes with high knee socks. For some reason, my outfit looks like I'm cosplaying right now but it doesn't matter. I looked at myself from the mirror and thought, 'Time for grocery shopping!'. I said goodbye to my parents and my dog then I left the house immediately.

I finally arrived at the supermarket and there were a few people today. I was about to grab a basket but I was interrupted by a voice calling my name. I turned to see Hiro Hamada and looks like he is shopping for groceries too. I ran towards him and said, "Hiro-kun! Fancy meeting you here~". He chuckled and gave me a kiss on the lips. I giggled and returned the kiss gently. He let go and said, "What a coincidence, (Y/N). I just came here to buy a drink because I got thirsty. Although, I was about to text you but I ended up finding you here". I scratched the back of my neck and said, "Really? Now that I think about it I want to see you too after this. Hehe. I guess both of us are thinking the same thing, huh?". He smiled gently and caressed my hair. My heart beats faster and I'm starting to blush slightly from his soft touch. "Anyway, are you shopping groceries for your family?", he asked. I nodded and said, "Yeah, we're almost running out of food". He grabbed a basket and suggested, "If you want, we can shop together. How does it sound, (Y/N)?". I smiled again and said, "Sure! I appreciate it, Hiro". He laughed softly and kissed my cheek before we began grocery shopping.

*TIME SKIP*

We finally finished shopping and we got outside the supermarket. Both me and Hiro are holding bags and it's a bit a heavy for me since I bought a lot of stuff. Hiro looked at me and asked, "Hey (Y/N). Can we stop by for some ice cream?". I looked at him and replied, "Sure, but first let's drop by at my house and put all the groceries there". He nodded and both of us head towards my house then afterwards we head out again for our ice cream date.

We arrived at the ice cream stand at the park and it smells chilly and delicious. I smiled and Hiro bought two ice creams for the both of us. He turned to me and gave me the vanilla flavored ice cream. "Thanks, Hiro", I said and started licking the ice cream. He smiled and got his change from the ice cream vendor. Hiro bowed and the ice cream vendor waved goodbye. Both of us decided to eat our ice cream under the tree and we sat down gently on the ground. The wind was refreshing and it makes my day ten times better. I sighed and kept licking the ice cream. 'This is so good! Nothing beats than a cold treat', I thought and giggled. While I was eating my ice cream, Hiro kept licking his ice cream as well and it's kinda cute. I smiled and continued eating

A few minutes has passed and both of us finished our cold treat. "Ah! That was so delicious!", I said and raised my hands up in the air. Hiro looked at me and giggled then he started looking at my face. "Hey (Y/N). There's something on your face", he said and pointed at it. I raised my hand and tried to find the stain. "Really? Where is it?", I asked and kept on touching my face. Hiro shook his head with a smile and got closer to me. My eyes widened and he staring licking my mouth and cheek. I blushed and my heart beating faster than earlier. He let go and smiled. "There you go! All done", he said and kissed my cheek. I scratched the back of my neck and said, "Thank you". Afterwards, there was silence and both of us are just staring at each other like it's eternity. I was about to speak but instead Hiro grabbed my hand. I gasped and he said, "(Y/N). We've been in relationship for a few years. With that, I feel like my life has gotten brighter and I want you to be by my side so I can love you, take care of you and protect you". I was speechless and wondering what's happening. "Also, we've been through a lot together and I will always cherish those memories and....I want to take our relationship to the next level", he said and brought out a blue small box from his pocket. My eyes widened when I saw that blue box on his hand and he said, "I love you, (Y/N). I wanna spend the rest of my life with you and I want to make you happy". I smiled gently and said, "So, (Y/N). Will you marry me?". He opened the box and revealed a silver ring inside it. I smiled even more with small tears that came out of my eyes and nodded rapidly then I answered with joy, "Yes! Yes! Yes! Of course, I'll marry you, Hiro!!". Hiro smiled and put out the ring from the box then he placed on my ring finger gently. I felt the cold metal on my hand and looked at it with excitement. He wiped my tears gently with his hand and I said, "I love you too, Hiro". He giggled and gave me a passionate kiss on the lips while I wrapped my arms around his neck.
