Chapter 10: The truth

But then after a while of doing this, all the people at the field and at the town of Ashnite started to get bored of all the fighting. There was now cries of "This is too boring!", "Can one of you give up?!", "Please stop the battle!", and much more cries coming from the crowd in the stands and out in Ashnite since some people were watching from the comfort of their homes from the news. 

Red SuperVillain, Purple SuperHero, the superhero helpers, and the supervillain helpers said "Never! We have to continue on until we decide to stop!". They kept continuing on and on with the fight, using the same methods over and over again. 

Red SuperVillain and Purple SuperHero decided to stop the superhero helpers and supervillain helpers and dismissed them out of the battle. Everyone at the field and in the town snapped into attention, realising that they were stopping. Purple SuperHero nodded, and said "Well, I hate to admit, this is actually starting to get boring doing the same thing over and over.". 

Red SuperVillain nodded, and said "I do agree with you, it is starting to get boring.". Everyone in the field and town started to cry "Show your identities, Purple SuperHero and Red SuperVillain!". They both nodded, and said "Calm down, calm down! We will both do it in a second!". Red SuperVillain said "Well, should I reveal myself first, and then you can reveal yourself next?". Purple SuperHero nodded, and said "Good idea, we should do that!".

Everyone started to listen very closely, very excited. Red SuperVillain cleared her throat, and said "Well, you all would know me. My real name is Charlotte.". Everyone gasped, including Purple SuperHero. Purple SuperHero replied "Wait, you are the one that I knew that was the only one who had the same backstory as me!". 

Charlotte looked at her in confusion, and said "Huh?". Purple SuperHero replied "My real name is Luna.". Everyone gasped louder in shock, including Charlotte. Charlotte replied "I do know you! You had the same backstory as me! How idiotic of me, I should have thought about you as one of the options since your records were burned like mine!". 

Luna nodded, and said "Same, I should have known that also!". Then, after that, Luna asked Charlotte "Have you ever wondered how we got powers?". Charlotte replied "I have, but I am not so sure.". Then, all of a sudden, a few people came over and told them about their power's history that they have found out about recently.

Apparently, there was a legend about Ashnite that it was a sacred place, and one day they would pick two people who have bad backstories to get powers, to make one person to have the good forces to prove people wrong, while the other person to have the bad forces to prove people right, and after a bit of fighting, they will show their identity, then the bad person would be redeemed, and partner up with the good person to help people out for the rest of their lives and forgive the people who have ever hurt them.

They both nodded, and said "That makes a whole load of sense! How did we not know that?!". Then, Luna turned to Charlotte and replied "Well, since of the legend, do you want to be redeemed and team up with me, or no?". Everyone watched in silence to see the answer. Charlotte laughed, threw her arms in the air, and said "Oh, what the heck? Absolutely!". 

Everyone cheered in happiness. Charlotte said to Luna while everyone was celebrating "We should keep our names revealed so people can say our names if they want to, I will change my name to Red SuperHero so then I can team up with you, then we can build a bigger headquarters to house our helpers, our tools and more, and we can live together in a bigger house!". 

Luna nodded, and said "What a great idea! We should do that while we are at it.". Then, they both made portals to take them away from the field back to their homes and headquarters to begin moving and start their legacy of being teamed up. 

As they went into their portals, they called out "Goodbye everyone!". Everyone cheered in happiness as they disappeared into the portal. Then the news broadcast turned off, the authors stopped writing, and everyone else dispersed back into their homes in Ashnite again with the people of Ashnite who were watching it in the comfort of their own homes.
