I sighed, resting my chin on my fist as a looked towards the TV in the pitch black room. I wasn't even watching it, it was muted and I'm not sure what show is even playing... It's twelve at night and I can't fucking sleep. I let out an audible groan.
"Fucking insomnia." I grumble, I slumping back and folding my arms.
"T-T-Tim?" A small voice calls out. I look towards the living room door and see Toby shivering.
"What're you doing up?" I raised an eyebrow in surprise, Toby sniffed and looked down,
"Nightmares..."
"Oh."
"Yeah." The room goes quiet for a few seconds before I awkwardly clear my throat and avert my gaze. "C-Can I sit with you?" My eyes meet his.
"Sure..." He gingerly sits down on the sofa next to me, shivering slightly. "You cold?" I didn't let him answer, wrapping my black hoodie around his shoulders, it was so oversized on him but kind of adorable. The next thing I knew, he was gripping my t-shirt, sobbing into my stomach. "T-Toby?!" I say from shock, he doesn't answer. "To-"
"I dreamed everyone I cared for was dead! It was all my fault! I let them burn!" He cries became muffled, him burying his face into my abdomen. This is getting uncomfortable. I grabbed him by the shoulders and lifted him to look into my eyes, my thumb brushed his tears.
"It was just a dream, Toby. It wasn't real. It was just a dream." He looked at me, lip quivering, tears streaming down his cheeks.
"Hold me. And if you laugh, I'll freakin punch you." I smiled slightly, pulling his smaller form into my chest, rubbing circles on his back to comfort him.
"Y-You were bu-urning... I watched you scre-eaming... It was h-horrible." He cried. I was shocked.
"I'm someone you care about?" I asked dumbly, my brow creasing. He shyly nodded. After he had calmed down, we began to talk about random things.
"Have you ever had a girlfriend?" I nodded, rolling my eyes at the same time.
"She was a bitch. I'm-... Never mind." He stared at me, curiosity highlighting his features.
"You're what?" I shook my head,
"Forget it." Toby chuckled, holding up his hand.
"C'mon Tim, I won't mock you!" Hmm, that's the first time he's used my name properly instead of 'Timmy'
"Fine, fine. I'll kill you if you laugh. Only Hoodie knows this;" I paused, making sure he was paying attention, he signalled for me to go on, "I'm Bi-curious." I stated. He didn't laugh, didn't even smile, he just nodded.
"I completely respect that... What do you think it's like, to be with a guy I mean." I chuckled,
"Not a clue... Probably the same as with a lass. People are people. Personalities what matters." He smiled,
"Yeah."Toby's P.O.V:
"Yeah." I agreed. I inhaled, taking in the smell of cologne from the comfy hoodie I was wearing. Does he always smell this good? I've never noticed... And that totally doesn't sound creepy... I snuggled back further into the jacket, pulling the hood over my messy hair.
"Comfy there?" He laughed, I nodded with a grin.
"It's mine now." I joke, he rolls his eyes.
"You wish." I yawn, letting my weight fall back on the couch, however, I slid to the side, face once again on Tim's chest. "Aww, Toby. If you wanted cuddles you could've just said." He teased."Shut up." I huff, wrapping my arms around his waist and closing my eyes.
