Zane jerks awake with a gasp, and struggles to catch his breath

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟, "𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞?"

He goes into the bathroom and splashes his face with cold water to wake himself up further, and voices of his classmates haunt his mind. What's wrong with him? Why can't he be like Garroth or Vylad? Why is he so different from them?

His mind wanders to getting tripped in the school hallway and being called 'emo freak' and being told in a mocking tone 'wrist check' on multiple occasions

He tries to be better than Garroth and Vylad at something, only to lose to them over and over again

Despite his rough behavior towards Garroth and Vylad, he knows they have doubts just as he does

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐮𝐭

Like himself, Garroth and Vylad are bad at communication too. And that they just brush aside their doubts as they don't see a way out either

Unknowing to Garroth and Vylad, he made an unspeakable vow/promise to them

One night Garroth and Vylad fall asleep late due to not doing their homework until later into the night. He rolls his eyes and mutters under his breath about being called a nerd by them simply because he had the sense to do his homework earlier that day. All while putting their homework and school books aside and tucking them in, giving them a forehead kiss
