Paisley went to school, still shaken up about the incident. She brushed it off and decided not to worry about it anymore until it was time. She needed to focus on her studies if she wanted to go to NYU. She was determined that this case would not ruin her life. She would not allow the thoughts she drifted off to, swallow her whole.
People at her school were very strange yet very open. In high school there are never secrets. Everyone knows everything. After you tell someone it's out of your grasp for good. That's why Paisley was still skeptical about Jessie. She thought that trusting her would still be risky.
Paisley's life seemed to be put on replay. Everyday it was the same thing over and over. Every time she turns around she feels her heart sink. She never knows what's going to happen. She was always shaky and worried. She wished she would've never seen anything. Was there something that could help her forget the pain she felt each uprising day? Maybe not, but one thing was for sure she would try her best.
