A/N: I'm discovering now, that I find the Pokémon Anime before Sun & Moon are harder to write, because in those anime Ash and his friends are always going towards somewhere. Whereas in Alola he pretty much stays in one place.

[Lumiose City]
Still in Lumiose City. Ash is currently being led to the Pokémon Center by King, Clemont, and Bonnie.
Pikachu and Bonnie are ahead of the others, as the two plays for a bit.
"Hurry up, you three!" Bonnie called, waving at them. "You can register for your Kalos League challenge here!" He told Ash.
"Pika Pika!" Pikachu jumps.
"I know, Bonnie." Ash said.
"Slow down you two." King said, chuckling a bit.
"There's no need to hurry; the Pokémon Center won't run away." Clemont told Bonnie.
"Thank you for guiding me around today, King, Clemont." Ash thanks them.
"It's all right." King said. "I know my way around Lumiose City, so we'll be showing you around for a bit."
"It's nothing." Clemont said. "More importantly, I'm impressed."
"Impressed?" Ash asked.
"What do you mean?" King asked.
"When I saw you and King fighting so hard for those Pokémon, it somewhat gave me courage as well." Clemont told them, remembering the incident the night before.
"Nah... You're exaggerating." Ash said.
"I'm pretty sure most people would do the same if it happens to them." King said.
Clemont stops, 'causing both Ash and King to stop and looks back at him.
"I think I understand why Froakie has chosen you." Clemont told Ash.
Ash took out Froakie's Pokéball, he looks at it, smiling.
King looks at Lance who is on his shoulder, they smiled at each other.
Clemont looks at the Prism Tower. "I have to do my best as well." He said.
"Hm?" Ash hummed, not hearing what Clemont said.
Clemont shakes his head. "Oh, I was talking to myself." He said, and continues forward.

[Pokémon Center - Inside]
The group eventually reaches and enters the Pokémon Center. Ash is in awe of the interior.
"Good morning." Nurse Joy greeted the group, bowing.
"Good morning." Ash greeted back.
"Here, we offer all kinds of Pokémon-related services, including the recovery of Pokémon's health and the providing of lodging for Trainers." Nurse Joy explained.
"I've come to register for the Kalos League challenge." Ash informed.
Pikachu jumps onto his shoulder.
"I see." Nurse Joy nodded. "Please put your Pokédex here, then." She said, gesturing at a screen as it changes to a scanner.
"Okay." Ash said, he took out his Pokédex and puts it on the scanner.
"Ash from Pallet Town. Registration for the Kalos League challenge completed." The system said. "Current number of badges: zero. We wish you the best of luck"
