Manhattan, New York.
6/10/2099

A bustling courtroom, holding an important trial is where our story begins. Amongst the prosecutors, defense team, and the people of the jury, many wary eyes observe from afar. One of the watchful eyes are a striking [E/c].

There's seemingly no remorse behind the predatory eyes, but soon they will change. As the starting statement begins, the skilled hands of [Y/n] [L/n] begin to jot down notes in his small journal. More specifically the prosecutors opening statement.

The ears of the student pick up on many words that race mile per minute, his hands writting down everything rhythmically like a machine. Noting things that might help him in his career as a lawyer. The defenses' opening statement also commences, it being just as strong as the other team.

Hours of information, accusations, lies, and scandals go by, but suddenly the jury calls for the courtrooms attention.

"That will be all for today."

Famous last words. [Y/n] begins to put away his belongings and thoughts into his messenger bag, which has star shaped stickers coating it. As he steps out of the room he is met with pristine suits and gowns, security officers line outside where trials are being held. The roundabout laying on top of intricate glass dome. The young man's eyes seemingly sparkle in wonder, he will never grow out of the fascination he has for the courthouse.

"How did it go sunshine?"

[Y/n] looks to his right, seeing his colleague and college friend, Matthew. Maybe a little closer than friends.

"I was able to get good notes on the prosecutors opening, which was an hour long!"

He just hears Matthew chuckle as said man leads him to his car.

"You moved into a different apartment right?"

"Yep!"

[Y/n] is situated in Matthew's passenger seat, waiting for him to start up the fancy car. Matthew asks for directions to his new home, and [Y/n] happily gives them.

"Make a right and...we're here!"

"Alright sunshine, have a good day."

[Y/n] swiftly gets out of his friends car, thanking him for the ride. As Matthew watches carefully the fleeting figure of his friend, [Y/n] busies himself on getting on the elevator.

"Waah! look at how futuristic it is!"

He arrives at the floor he lives at, one of the higher floors,  floor--6. [Y/n] peeks his head out the elevator, being met with doors aligned side by side, knowing that they store a home. For now this is where [Y/n] will be living at, with fancy carpets and plant arrangements. Even if he is 'crippling' in student debt, he still has money to spare.

6-2098, that's his home number, he watches as windows and doors alike line the intertwined corridors. He looks for his house number, patiently yet efficiently.
