UNIMAGINABLE LOVE 💖

CHAPTER 2🌹

    I stood in my decent size of bedroom located in the apartment that I share with Nina. I woke up as early as 5am to prepare for my interview and now am staring at my reflection in the mirror unsure about the outfit that I picked out for my job interview. I was dressed in a black tailor trouser and a long sleeve white button shirt.

My brown hair huge loosely down my mid back and my makeup was nothing more than a layer of moisturizing cream and lip balm.

I huffed before meeting Nina in the living room. Nina was always fashionable and she always bug me about my fashion sense, which was annoying by the way. Shes an epitome of beauty with her long bark brown hair and her piercing hazel eyes and a soft feature, but don't let that deceive you because she is stubborn and a headstrong woman that you wouldn't want to mess with.

Without saying a word I went straight to the kitchen.

"Mmm Cla what are you wearing?"
"Uhh Nina they are called clothes"
"I know that!!! (Walking to the kitchen) my question is....why are you wearing that for the interview?"
"Nina I really don't have time for your fashion thing right now"
"Come on Clara this is an interview not a funeral. You look so plain and it is boring, you have to change I can't let you go like this"
" Yah.. whatever Nina i think I look decent and presentable"
"Clara please let me look for something different for you, you don't have to do anything and I can even give you a dress from my closet"
"Nina I don't need your clothe am okay with what am wearing, am going for an interview not a fashion show"(walking towards the door)
"Clara you don't even know your way"
" Don't worry I ordered for an Uber"
"Okay just be careful!!"
"Sure!! Okay (Door closed)

I was so nervous, what if I blow up this interview I heard my inner voice saying. Am gonna go and crush this interview well not really crush but to pass this interview.

Before I push myself back into that negative thought again I made my way to the Uber driver.

After a long drive I was finally here.
G. P. C  has the most tallest skyscraper in LA and i heard it has the most beautiful view from up. I can't wait to explore the whole building if possible.
I went straight to the receptionist and she directed me to the office I was to have my interview.

*****************************************After the interview i decided to stop by Starbucks to eat lunch because all those questions got me hungry for some food.
"Clara Adams medium ice coffee two extra pumps of Carmel and a burger please" I rushed out
"Thank you" I grab my drink. I grew up with manners, that is the price of living with your parent where your dad is a retired marine. I made my way back to the chair and sat down munching on my burger. After eating I made my way back home.

I got home, freshen up and decided to watch a movie to kill some time before Nina comes back from work and yes Nina is a working class lady.
Nina works in an advertising agency.

Two hours later Nina came back from work.
" So... how was the interview"
" It was okay I mean apart from the way I said the wrong thing out of nerve I think I didn't totally mess up my chances of getting......
" Woah.!!!! Calm down Clara it's just me"
" Am sorry Nina am so scared that I might have messed up or something"
"Am sure you were not that bad"
"Nina I literally started sweating when I got to the office"
"Okay fine... But just because you said some stuff doesn't mean you're not gonna get it, I mean look at you Clara, you are so talented if they don't accept you then that is their loss okay now quite being scared"
"Thank you Nina I really needed to hear that"
"Sure... Anytime. Come-on let eat dinner.
