Chapter 1🌹

   My name is Clara Adams I was born in south Carolina columbia. My father is black and my mother is white, I have a straight brown hair and a beautiful grey eyes that I inherited from my mom's part of the family. I love being alone in my own comfort, because of that I spent most of my time in the library and that made me very smart and to be at the top of my class.  In my school most girls didn't like me but I learned to ignore them, I wasn't even popular I was just my own person that was untill I met my best friend Nina.  Nina is my best friend and the sister I never had. We met at fifth grade when a boy was picking on me and she defended me and since then we've been best friends.

     When I turned 19 I graduated from school, few months later I decided to look for a job in a different location. I applied for a job in my dream company. After waiting for a few weeks I was called to come for an interview. So after that I decided to move to Seattle to start afresh.  I was so happy but at the same time a little bit sad because I was going to a different place that is not my home which is something that I have never done before I was going to miss my family and everyone but I have to do these if I want to fulfill my dreams of being an independent woman. I've always wanted to work in a publishing company that is why I am so ecstatic that I've been called for an interview in my dream company "GREY PUBLISHING COMPANY AND   HOUSING" [G.P.H]
  G.P.C is one of the top two best publishing companies in Seattle, there are other branches in several countries that's why when I got a call about the interview I was happy and now am here in Seattle a place unknown to me.

Am at the airport waiting for Nina, yes  Nina leave in Seattle alone that is the second reason why I chose to move here. Nina left Columbia for Seattle immediately after we graduated from school. I've missed her so much, she was so happy when u told her about my interview, she even suggested to stay with her until I can get my own apartment well I was happy that we are going to stay together.

(CAR HONK) CLARA ADAMS!!!

"GOD!! Nina you scared the living day light out of me"
"Am sorry Clara I am happy....!! eager to see you and I've missed you so much"
"Awww... I missed you  too (hugging)"
"Okay enough of all this I have a lot of places to show you Cla"
"Nina we will do all that but first I have to prepare for my interview remember?"
"Ooh right.... I totally forgot about that"
"Really Nina???
"Am sorry Cla I was so happy that you are coming to Seattle that I forgot about the interview. what about this we'll go to the apartment and then you freshen up, eat and then you rest"
"Okay that's better"
"Okay let's go.....get in the car (Car door shut).
 
We got to the apartment and I loved it, it's a two bedroom and a sitting room. It's small but comfortably good. We arranged my stuff in the room assign to me,ate dinner, talked a little bit and then went to bed. Am glad I chose Seattle though I miss my parent but still I don't regret being here.
