???..."Ow...Jesus my head..." I sat upright. I tried to open my eyes but the blinding white light made me shut my eyes. I rubbed my temples for a few seconds before trying again.
"Damn how bright are these l....ights...?" I sat in awe as stared around. I wasn't in my bedroom. I stood up and took a closer look.
Endless halls of this yellow wallpaper and strangely moist air. I could feel the carpet squish beneath my feet.
"Cmon Keith. Snap out of it...this can't be real, it's endless!" I tell myself repeatedly.
I wonder for what seems like eternity. Until I stop dead in my tracks. I look across a hallway to see what seems to be a human. I desperately rushed over. Shouting "Hello! You wouldn't happen to know...." I cut short to see what was in front of me.
It was human. But it had obviously been here from some time. Just then. It seemed it's bones where being consumed by the carpet. All that remained was a surprisingly clean jacket and scarf.
I took them despite who it came off. Wherever I am it isn't anywhere near normal. I continued to walk. Mic in my hand I softly sang to myself.
It was a song that Pico sang to me. He let me name it. I called it "Pico" surprisingly enough. I remember we jammed in his garage. He would sing, and I would shout "Go Pico! Yeah Yeah!".
I hear a extremely loud scream. So loud it could burst a persons ear drums if they were in radius.
Just then I saw someone dash past me. I got ready to run before I saw....it....run after.
"This isn't gonna be as easy as I thought, huh?"
I decided it was safer to continue my own path. Hoping that I would find that person. Alive and well.
Let's hope I will be alive and well by the end of this...
