at the volcano

I was on a volcano.

Me and some other people walked up the mountain to have a look in the crater and a nice view of the landscape.

It was really fascinating.

But after some time we noticed that something was weird.

The ground underneath us began to shake.

At first it wasn't so strong but then even smoke came out of the crater.

Now panic was set free in the visiting crowds.

Everyone was frightened, except from me. I just stood there. I couldn't move an inch. My muscles held me on the place where I stood.

The people ran around panicking. They didn't know what to do. I even saw a dog running away from their lady.

But I still stood there not moving.

I should do something. I thought.

Then I realized. This is an emergency. You need to help. The feeling of not saving would kill me.

I thought about any way out.

And then I heard the volcano buzzing. It hurted. My ears. No. My brain hurted. I screamed.

And then nothing.

Was I dead?

No.

My senses came back.

I fell on the hard ground of stone.

I took a big breath.

I then got up and screamed again.

But this time not because something hurted. No.

Because I knew I could get the people out of the dangerous volcano in front of me.

I turned around. Now I was free to move again.

I saw a rock.

It was big enough. I thought.

I then concentrated.

I closed my eyes searching for the energy of the rock.

It worked.

.................

Just the next second I woke up again.

Bathing in my sweat.

I got up from my bed.

I panted.

These nightmares came for me every single night and still frightened me.

I didn't know what to do about them.

I was alone.

I walked in the bathroom, turned on the lights. It was too bright.

I looked at my watch. 4:38 am.

I sighted.

It's always the same time I wake up from the nightmares.

I took my glass of water next to the shelf and took some swallows of the neutral liquid.

It tasted as nice as always.

Then I got back in my room.

I didn't know if I could sleep again so I just layed there and looked the wall above me.

How did I end up here?
