"Devotion"

YOUR POV

I didn't know what was taking over me. All I knew was that my feet was moving on their own, Rodney's hand quivering against my own. The sound of the creaking stairs groaned beneath our feet, the fading voices echoing behind us.

"C-Cassie (Y-Y/N), where are we going?" Rodney spoke, almost as a whisper.

"Just keep close to me, we are almost there." I sighed, trying to keep all of my emotions at bay.

Sliding open the door to my bedroom, the welcoming scent of roses dance around the room. Slipping into the small space behind my bed, Rodney hesitantly steps inside. With a soft press of the door closing, we stand there, catatonic.

"I can't believe it's you...! Where- why- how did you- OH MY GOD." Rodney spoke, fumbling with his hands.

Already feeling like I'm getting overwhelmed, I then grab his hand, taking it slowly in mine. All of his questions seem to have been gone with the wind. Anything he could say was mute.

"Look I'm sorry we have met this way, but it's not my intention to. I, well, it's a long story." I sighed.

"Explain, Cassie. (y/N.)" Rodney said pleadingly.

Sigh...

Defeated, I sit on the bed, feeling the rush of everything hit my chest. Unable to look into his eyes, my heart decided to break though the last wall I could have attempted to keep it sealed.

"My dad works for Bigweld Industries. I, was offered a job to work here. However, my dad threatened my life if I were to ever say anything in regards to that job. Hence why, I couldn't say anything at Graduation. Rodney, I wanted to say no.. but, I had to do it for my mother.. I didn't want to give up on her.."

RODNEY POV

It all started to slowly make sense. She was always so secluded when it came to that convo. Her lips were in a pout, eyes being filled with worry.

Those beautiful purple eyes I fell in love with..

"Cassie (Y/N) I can't do this anymore." I say coldly.

As if I tore her out of her trance, I took one long stride towards her, snatching her face with the palm of my hand.

"R-Rodney w-what are you d-do-"

Shutting her up altogether, I finally kissed her, for the first time. Her warm lips stood taut against mine, moving in slow motion with mine. Her body melted with me, giving lead of temptation. The need and the passion that was in the kiss was...

Surreal.

Before I knew it, she pulled me towards the bed. She let her curvy body hit the mattress, lust shining in her eyes. I found myself getting up on top of her, the same lust reflecting her own.

"Are you s-sure?" I asked.

"Yes."

The intensifying kiss made me winded, as her firm arms came winding around me. Her soft moans slip into my mouth, her body shivering underneath me. As if I couldn't get anymore bothered.

"Rodney I don't.."
