Chapter 1

*Audrey's POV*

"Hand me my laptop," Kait says from her bed.

We share a room.

It's okay because I got to decorate it.

"Sure thing."

I guess since Kait is doing her school work I will too.

I put on my glasses because there's no point in putting contacts in if I'm just gonna be with Kait.

I wouldn't dare let anyone see me in my glasses. They are hideous. You can guess that my dad bought total nerd ones.
(No offense to my lovely nerds out there😉)

2 hours later we finish our school work. I beat Kait to the shower so she takes one in the room across the hall.

I get out brush my teeth then put on my pjs.

I walk out and Kait is in bed with the lights out.

Whoops.

"Girls get down here!"Dad yells.

"Yeah dad?" Kait asks.

"Um I have news. It can be good news if you want it to be."

"Okay, spill." I say.

"You're going to stay with your mom and your brothers while I go on my business trip to Arizona."

"What? Dad that's a week long!" Kait complains.

"Kill me now." I mumble.

"Watch it Audrey. You're going and that's final. Now pack. You leave tomorrow night." He says.

It's 4:30 now so I'll pack later.

"oh Kaitlyn! Let's duet!"

"Audrey you know I hate singing."

"But you looovvveeee harmonizing with meee."

"Okay fine."

I play piano and she sings with me. It's one of my fav things to do with Kait. More like the only thing lol.

"Yeah that was fun and all but I'm gonna go play basketball."

We'll okay then.

I've already pick the perfect outfits for when we meet mom so I guess I'll go lay them out.

I pack a weeks worth of outfits, my makeup and hair stuff, and all the other essentials.

Then I sit on the balcony and watch the sunset.

I go inside and Ramona has dinner ready. Ramona is like our nanny.

"Kait dinner is ready!" She yells.

"Ugh finally I'm starving!"

Bruh.

We finish and I try to sleep.

It's now 2 a.m. and Kait is packing. Shoot me now.

"Seriously Kait? It's 2 in the morning!"

"Hey hey hey. I'm done now. " She says with a smile.

I finally get to sleep.
