In the darkness she waits,
Trapped in an eternal slumber,
Her soul God did not take,
For he couldn’t tolerate her mistake,
St. Peter closed the gate,
She fell……………
And fell……
Down……
Down!
Straight to Hell,
She would not ring that bell,
The one that would bring forth the fallen angel,
Lucifer, Lucifer,
Banned from heaven like he,
A Goddess to be,
Nevermore,
She cries the word,
The forbidden truth,
“Brother”
The fires of hell reach for her,
There in the flames he stood,
Lucifer, Lucifer,
He spares her a glance but turns her away,
A feeling of gloom that will forever stay,
Denied by both brothers,
Of Heaven and Hell,
She waits in the darkness,
Where hope and dread consume her,
In the darkness she whispers,
“Where shall I go?
There is no place among Heaven nor Hell for me to be.
What must I do to make things right?
All I did was make the stars shine bright,
She waited…
And waited…
Until the answer came in a mysterious voice,
“Come be the moon for me,
Reflect the radiance that will come to be,
Night is when thee shines most bright,
Among the stars thee changed by sight,
What radiant phases that occur,
When thee shines down it is the cure.”
In the darkness she smiles,
As countless stars come to life,
“Thee always know just what to say,
When both my brothers hold me at bay,
We knew this would come to be,
If I threw the stars about and sang
For it is the end of us, my sweet, Erebus.”
His soft chuckle came from deep within the darkness,
“Aw but that is where thee is wrong, my dear,
For the end of us will not be found here, there, or anywhere,
Thy Goddess art the night itself,
Now show thy brothers,
Just what thee store inside thy prayer,
Let them stare,
At the radiance thou shine down tonight, my dear,
The moon that shines bright within the night,
My Sweet, Luna…Noctiluca.”
