"Please enter"
The voice I heard was a higher pitched womans. The giant doors opened in sync to reveal where the voice had come from, and despite it's sound, the woman before us appeared to be an adult. Dressed in golden cloths, upon a throne that seamlessly matched the granite flooring, the woman sat crossed legged.
"Your majesty," the boy named Micheal bent down. The girl beside me nodded to me and we followed in his footsteps, bowing to the apparent Queen before us.
"Micheal! My favorite human child, how splendid to see you!" She thrilled. "Please stand."
"My Queen," he acknowledged, "I have brought forth Amelia and her new companion."
The queen stood up upon the first step to the throne, her golden cloak falling to her bare shoulders. "Amelia, it has been a long time since I have seen you walk my halls."
"I have been busy, your majesty," she smiled eerily.
"I can see that," she grimaced back, "Who is this newborn?"
The girl who was now revealed to be named Amelia began to speak but was stopped by a wave of the Queens hand.
"Let the boy speak for himself."
Amelia looked at me with worry, and prompted me to answer. I stood there silently, frozen from what I could conclude as to being fear.
"Answer!" The Queen commanded.
"My name is Thomas," I finally squeeked out.
"Thomas," she pondered, "Do you know where you are?"
I shook my head no in response.
"Do you know why you are here?"
Again, I shook my head no.
"Does he even know that you have turned him? Amelia?" Her tiny voice changed into a roar.
"I haven't had the time to explain," she paused, "it was a mistake, I didn't mean to change him."
"And how are you going to fix this mistake?"
"I have left a witness," she bent her head down, "but I plan on fixing my mistake, with his help."
"And then?"
"Then I will kill the witness and-," she paused to look at me, "and then I will kill him."
I looked behind me towards the door we had come in from, but there were guards blocking it. There was no escape, I was going to die.
"No."
"Excuse me, your majesty, what do you mean?"
"The witness has probably already tried to expose us. They have probably locked them into an insane asylum," she laughed, "You shall be punished, however."
Amelia knelt down, "Yes, my Queen, I deserve whatever you see fit."
She laughed again, waving for Amelia to stand back up, "You shall keep this fledgling, that should be punishment enough for you."
Amelia stood up in shock, staring at me in awe, "You want me to keep this boy?"
"Of course it is not as traditional as we tend to do things. As you can see Micheal has been raised here, he is completely obedient," she beamed happily "And when he turns eighteen we will turn him and he will join the guard. But I think that this punishment will suite you well. Turn this fledgling into an obedient servent of the kingdom."
"As you wish," Amelia grimaced.
