Tubes of glowing pink liquid lined one side of the wall. Crates filled with the exact same substance also were littered among the base.
"Here," B-127 said. "Enough Energon to last a couple of hundred solar cycles."
Wheeljack walked in with B-127 following behind him. They took note of all the Energon until Wheeljack noticed a structure in the back of the building.
"By the Primal Vanguard," He exclaimed. "That's a space bridge!"
The Space Bridge. A miraculous technology that could bend the fabric of space to transport a person or equipment to one point or another, as long as another space bridge was present to connect to. They were used to connect planets spanning light-years apart. It looked like a large cybernetic tuning fork, with faded orange paint.
Wheeljack approached console and started inspecting it. "You remember the space bridges, kid?"
"Yeah. I remember going to see the races on Velocitron," B-127 reminisced. Then, his tone turned cold. "Until your war made them shut down for good."
"Don't blame everything that went wrong on us," Wheeljack retorted. "Besides, I think this one can be brought back online." Wheeljack looked over the readings and became more excited. "Oh man, think of the possibilities we can do with this space bridge. We can contact the colonies and get reinforcements. Then we'll have enough troops and resources to end this war."
B-127 shrugged dismissively and started to move towards the entrance. "You can plan your little science project back at your base. I say we grab the Energon and get back to your base to discuss my payment. I don't want to be circuits deep in Decepticon territory any longer than I have to be."
However, Wheeljack was ignoring the little yellow fellow as he continued to test the console. Finally, Wheeljack figured out how to turn the space bridge on. It groaned to life, shaking the ground slightly as a blue glow emanated from the circle.
B-127 ran back to Wheeljack. "Are you insane," He yelled. "You've just alerted every Decepticon in this sector! We need to grab the Energon and go, now!"
Wheeljack shook B-127 off of him. "Calm down! I've got this under control." Wheeljack then typed out commands to put the bridge on stand-by mode. "I've got to tell Optimus."
"Too bad you won't get the chance," A new voice said. Suddenly, a whole squadron of Seekers transformed and landed in robot mode. Each troop raised a cannon and pointed it at the duo. Each Seeker troop had the same body-type as Skywarp, who is present with them. The differences are in color. For example, a mostly blue Seeker is present named Thundercracker and a red, white, and blue Seeker named Starscream smirked at the duo.
Then, a larger jet transformed and landed. He was larger than any bot present. He was mostly while in color, with red and black armor pieces covering his chest and forearms. His legs ended in thruster beneath his feet. His helmet was white, with only a blue visor standing out from the grey faceplate. He wore a Decepticon badge proudly on his chest plate. This was Jetfire, Air Commander of not only the Seekers, but the Deceticons at large.
B-127 immediate put his hands up to show he was unarmed. "Don't shoot! I plead neutrality."
"Don't worry, there will be no violence as long as this goes smoothly," Jetfire said. "I should thank you two for discovering what's possibly the last functioning space bridge on Cyberton."
