In which Leah surprises harry by joining Harry on stage at Slane Castle before announcing her presence for the last leg of Love On Tour!
Leah's POV:
I looked in the mirror and admired by outfit for the evening, it was a white satin skirt, a black tube top and a green and white striped jacket. My boyfriend, Harry was performing at Slane Castle tonight and I wanted to surprise him by me joining The Love Band on tour on the saxophone for the last leg of tour, So it seemed fitting to match with him. Harry's fans already know quite a bit about me as he's posted me online before, so quite a large number of my fans found out about me through Harry.
"Ayeee girl you look amazing!" I hear a voice exclaim before I turned around to be met by Sarah Jones, drummer of The Love Band, twirling her drumsticks in her hand. "Hey Sarah! I say before pulling her into a hug, Sarah, Paulie, Lloyd and Lauren have all been the masterminds behind making this happen. I've known The Love Band for years, so they are like a second family away from family to me. "Harry's getting ready in his dressing room, his makeup and hair artists normally take around an hour each to get him looking amazing before the official soundcheck. So we have about two hours to fit your sound check in without Harry finding out your here before the show even starts." Sarah explains as she pulls away from the hug.
I softy gesture to my saxophone prepared and ready for the show. "My saxophone is ready to go, so if you guys are ready we can make a start on soundcheck now." I say softly with a smile before laughing gently as Sarah's face lights up with excitement. "Of course! Lets go!" Sarah beams before cracking the door to my dressing room open slightly, making sure Harry isn't about before gesturing to me rapidly to run out of the door. I quickly grab my saxophone before hurrying out of my dressing room alongside Sarah. We both laugh quietly as we sprint through the immense corridor that will soon be filled with fans making the walk to the pit and hurry onto the stage.
"Hey guys!" I say as a grin instantly forms on my face at the sight of The Love Band. The group instantly run up and engulf me in a hug, each of them greeting me one by one as we pull away. "How was the trip here?" Lloyd asks as he makes his way back to his perch at the back of the stage by Sarah's drum kit, so he has full access to everyone's places on the stage for pictures. "It was okay, flight was rough, got here early hours of yesterday morning so I just slept my way through the jetlag until 2 in the afternoon." I say and we all laugh.
It feels so good to laugh like this again. Of course I've met up with them multiple times over the tour, but this time there's going to be a bunk on The Love Band Bus with my name on it. I can't help but feel a sense of pride about that, the fact that I'll be touring with my best friends for the next two months, it makes me feel peaceful, safe almost. "Earth to Leah." Sarah says in my ear as Grapejuice begins playing at the point just before me and Lauren come in. "Oh sorry!" I say with a laugh as Lauren and I smile at each other before playing the Grapejuice saxophone solo's at the end.
AFTER SOUNDCHECK:
"Okay I think we're good for tonight. Besides, Leah still needs to get back to her dressing room without being spotted by Harry to finish getting ready." Sarah concludes before nodding at me and placing her drumsticks in the centre of her drums. "Good point Sarah. We'll see you out there, Leah." Paulie says before saluting at me teasingly. I laugh before saluting back as me and Sarah leave the stage and head back to my dressing room.
SHOWTIME:
(I've changed the start of the concert a bit to help Leah's entrance so bear with me.)
Peace Piece starts playing and I laugh as I hear the entire of Slane Castle's crowd start screaming. Harry is stood in the centre section of the stage, The Love Band On The Right (Paulie, Mitch, Sarah, Lauren etc,) and I'm stood on the left. I'm making a surprise entrance before Daydreaming as Sarah is going too start talking to Harry before announcing me, which is my cue to head onstage. The Love Band head onto the stage, ending with Harry being the last member to enter the stage causing the crowd to get a lot louder.
