The day of the Dark Exile began like any other.

There was no point in trying to fix it anymore. As much as the thought sounded absolutely outlandish, Robin was gone.

Sage didn't move at all. She slumped over them, sobbing quietly at their side, and Ethan sat behind her feeling everything at once and hiding it all the same.

The palace behind them flourished with purple magic, bursting colors and voices shattering the windows.

"...What's she doing in there?" Ethan asked, his voice tired.

-

Meadow waved her hands in the air, and the room darkened. Visions of purple and yellow danced through the air, and a cold breeze flowed. It was sparkling, beautiful. Even Cole stood in awe, never witnessing anything like this before, and much less from his own sister.

"You're a Celestial." The king seemed bewildered, out of breath.

"Possibly. Not important, though. Now, I'll simply start from the beginning."

Figures showed as Meadow spoke, fleeing a wasteland. She made even the darkest of presentations look beautiful. "You've just banished the Dark Elements to an island far off the coast of the kingdom, not realizing this is the worst mistake you could make. The balance of magic will be thrown off for generations. And Peter Keynote, the man I mentioned before, he will return with his experiments. 10,000 years to the day, he will wreak havoc and seek revenge. He'll end the world, cursing the sky just as he has done his children, and no one will survive."

The vision changed to a stormy sky, showing three purple figures, one taller than the other two, and standing in the middle.

"In 10,000 years, there will appear a single soul. The most powerful in the universe, and more powerful than anyone will ever be. That soul will be his weapon, and he will use it to end the world." She looked to her brother and smiled. "But in every story, there's an inkling of hope."

The vision changed to so many things happening at once. Cole didn't recognize it, but Meadow did. Before their eyes, the events of last year were unfolding all over again.

"Three children of Light will band together, and together, they will defeat Peter Keynote, and save the world. Break the curse that will have hold of the world for good and bring peace to all Elements. They will find each other, with the help of this."

Meadow took out her mother's golden ring and clasped it into her hands. A shine of light zapped, increasing in speed, until Meadow finally revealed it in her hands. A golden necklace, with a purple gem in the middle.

The Light Emblem.

"Things will happen along the way. These children will find friends, enemies, endure hardships, and possibly even death. But no matter what, they will always win."

The king seemed petrified, but Cole seemed proud. Smiling at the magic above, and proud of his sister. The realization hadn't quite crept up on him yet that he should have left when Meadow told him to.

"If they die, more will follow. The Light Emblem will always be looking." Meadow continued, passing the Light Emblem to the king's hands. "However, the powerful soul will be a constant factor. If they die before the prophecy is fulfilled, the world will end. No more Celestials can take my place until this is over."

The visions started to wane.

"You are, at this very moment, witnessing the prophecy to change the world."
