Chapter Two

~Y/N POV~

I stare at the people in the room, giving them a blank expression as I try to recall what happened earlier. Unfortunately, nothing came to mind. "Y/n you're up," Lily said with a hint of concern. "What happened?" I ask, hoping they would give me an answer. "We don't know what happened to you but we could only guess Leslie was trying to kill you," Lily told me. Confused I asked, "Why would she try to kill me?" I asked.

"Because when Mini found you, you were already unconscious in your bedroom with cuts and bruises all over. Before she approached your body she called a nearby friend for help. Then when she tried to get near your body, Leslie attacked her. She said Leslie confessed to trying to kill you. She also said that Leslie had said she would only have been able to kill you in your home because mine had too much surveillance around and in it," Lily added. "Why would Leslie try to kill me?" I asked. "We don't know the reason why, but they found her dead body in your bedroom stabbed to death. It's going to be on the news around five o'clock in the afternoon today," Lily explained.

"My god," I said with shock. "But who saved MIni what happened after Mini was attacked?" I ask confused by the situation. "It was one of Mini's old guy friends from who she described," Liam said. Just then the doctor entered the room, and all three of them quieted down to less than a whisper. I stared at the man and he stared back with a glint in his eyes. "Hello y/n, my name is Dr. Smiley. I'm sure you're friends filled you in on what happened, yes? How are you feeling?" Dr. Smiley said with an unnerving smile behind his mask. "Yes, they did. I feel fine," I answer unsurely. His eyes dim at my words but then returned as soon as he saw I noticed.

"Great! That sounds wonderful. All we have to do is run a few tests and then we'll discharge you if everything goes well, alright y/n?" Dr. Smiley said while still smiling unnervingly. "Okay," was all could I say.

~ Two Hours Later ~

~Y/N's POV~

"All right, your good to go. Everything is negative. Oh, and before you go, here's some medicine in case your head starts hurting," Dr. Smiley said, smiling even wider than his mask could hide while passing me the pill bottle. However, once he gave me the pills, he went to speak with Lily and Liam outside the hospital room since they were going to take care of me. Lily told Mini to stay behind and watch me to make sure I didn't try to do something by myself.

~Lily's POV~

Both Liam and I followed Dr. Smiley outside the hospital room. "Is it the right medicine?" Liam asked in a hushed voice once the door was shut. "Yes, this medicine will make her more susceptible to his sickness but will still keep her stable," Dr. Smilely informed us. "Just make sure she takes two a day. One in the morning and one at night. Alright?" Dr. Smiley asked us. "Alright," Liam and I said at the same time. "I'm also suggesting you take her to your house since it would be easier to monitor her there," Dr. Smiley suggested. Then he told us we could leave the hospital with y/n already. We entered the room once again while thanking the doctor for his work.

~Y/N's POV~

After a few minutes of sitting in silence, they came back inside. "Thank you, doctor," was what I heard before all three of them came back inside. "All right y/n, you are good to go. You and your friends here can leave.," Dr. Smiley said with a toothy grin. Slowly I got off the bed, and walked towards the bathroom to change, with Lily behind me bringing my clothes while Liam stood gathering my stuff with Mini. Once I was done changing I stepped out of the bathroom, to find Lily giving instructions to both Mini and Liam. "Mini grab the stuff we just packed for y/n, and Liam go start the car. Here's the keys," she said tossing him the car keys. "Okay," Both Liam and Mini agreed.
