~Y/N's POV~

I wake up to my alarm sounding loudly on top of my computer desk. I get up while leaning on the wall for support. Oh, shit! Why does my head hurt? Slowly I step forward and walk toward my dresser mirror. God, I look like a mess. My eyes are sunken in lightly, and there's some blood under my nose. I reach up to touch the blood lightly but accidentally smear it. It's dry. Immediately I notice something in the background behind me in the mirror. I turn around heading towards my computer desk to turn off the alarm and picked up the sticky note. Beware the pale man. Below the note was a symbol, an X-marked circle. What the hell? What's this supposed to mean?

I threw away the note and got ready to hang out with Leslie and Mini. I go into the bathroom to take my pills for headache and pain. Once I open the cabinet, however, I can't find the pill bottles anywhere. Crap! I needed those! Swiftly, I call Lily's place. The phone rings, once, twice, and three times before it picks up. "Hey, this is Lily what do you need y/n?" I heard her say over the phone. "Hey, Lily? Do you by any chance still have any painkillers left?" I asked her. "Mhm, I should still have some from the last time... Why do you need them?" She replied. "Okay, thanks. Umm... Let's just say that mine are missing."

I said answering her questions. I heard shuffling on the other end. "Yeah I have them, when do you need them? Now or later?" she asked me. "Uhh... Is now a good time?" I ask Lily. "Yeah, sure I guess. Be here in twenty minutes though because I have to go to the store in twenty," Lily answered. "Yeah, ok thanks," I reply. "Great, I'll see you in a bit then," Lily spoke on the phone. "Mhmn, see you in a bit. Alright bye Lily," I said. "Byee," She replied. I hang up. Sigh. Tired, I get ready to head over to Lily's place. Afterward, I ate my favorite food and drink. Then I got up; snatched my car keys off the coffee table in the living room, and left the house. I got in my car and drove to Lily's house.

It was an abandoned two-story left in the middle of a forest on the edge of town. I pull up into her driveway and get out to ring the door. By the time I'm about to knock on the door. Liam, Lily's male friend opened it. "Oh-uhh... Lily your friend is here!" Liam yelled to her. A muffled ok was heard faintly. Along with some heavy footsteps on the creaking floorboards upstairs making their way down the stairs. Rubbing the back of my s/c neck; I apologized once more for disturbing her while she was on her day-off work. "It's alright, I've been wanting some company anyways," she said. "Here," Lily said handing over the pill bottle with slight concern on her face.

"Thanks again Lily," I says to her and headed for my car. "Hey, y/n?" I heard her ask. "Yeah?" I say stopping in my tracks to turn around and face her. "Stay safe," she said. I nod and got in my car. Slowly I pull the car out of their driveway, making sure to wave bye to them. They're out of sight now. Sigh. I grab the pill bottle. Having one hand on the steering wheel, I used the other hand to pop the cap off. using my knee to handle the steering wheel, I use the other hand to get two painkillers and put them into my mouth. Putting the cap on, I tossed it in my bag and put one hand back on the steering wheel. Leaning over while still looking at the road, I reached for my water canister.

Popping the lid off, I took a sip of water and then popped the lid back on.

~Lily's POV~

"Y/n? I called out. "Yeah?" she replied. "Stay safe," I said with worry. She nods her head before entering her car, pulling the car out of the driveway. Smiling she waves to us. I hit Liam's side using my elbow, reminding him to smile and wave at her. Once she is out of sight, I go inside with Liam and slam the front door shut. Sighing, I sit down, leaning against the door heavily. "That was close," I commented to Liam, whose face was more composed than mine. "Yeah," he agrees. I take a deep breath before getting up. "How long does she have?" I ask Liam.
