At the crack of dawn she woke up, as always. She got up and streched and looked at Millie, her den mate, and nuged her. "Wake up, we have to go hunting." Millie groaned and rolled over. "Just five more minutes...." Raven sighed. "You do this every morning... WAKE UP OR I WILL TICKLE YOU!"

Then MIllie jumped out of her nest, and meowed; " OKAY! OKAY! I AM AWAKE!" Raven smiled "yeah, i thought so." then they walked out of the den and sniffed the air 'mouse; thought Raven. then she crouched down to a stalking position, being carful to step lightly and focus all of her weight on her haunches so the mouse wouldnt feel her pawsteps. A few moments later, she sighted the mouse, nibbeling a seed, unaware of the cat just around the corner. She bunched up her hind paws and sprang at the mouse, kicking up sand as she rose. Then she landed with her paws on the mouse, before it got a chance to squeak, she killed it with a quick bite to the neck.

"Very nice job you did there with the mouse, but next time you should try for a rabbit, more meat." said a voice from the darkness. Raven scowled. "So we meet again Ace, how very pleased i am to see you, so i can tell you that if you think we are going to welcome you here, you are wrong. you wont get any hospitality from us. Not after what happened last time." Ace chuckled and steped out from the shadows, revealing his black and white fur and scarred eye. "i have come for no such thing. i have come to ask a favor of you." Raven let ouy an amused meow. "What part of 'your not welcome here' dont you understand?" After a few silent moments,Ace broke the silence saying "Alright then, you leave me no choice." he raised his voice "QUILL!" after that, a brown cat shot out of the darkness and everything turned black.
