In one of the most devastating battles to date, Ben Tennyson met his end at the hands of a reanimated Vilagx. Gwen having been forced to stay out of the battle vowed to avenge her cousin and train a new hero to take his place.
"Don't forget to dodge sweetie!" I shouted as I watched (y/n) attempt to fight Kevin as XLR8, but Kevin had absorbed rubber so (y/n) attacks weren't doing much. He soon timed out and ran away screaming, but the Omnitrix must have truly believed that his life was in danger because it instantly recharged, "Awesome! Time to end this Kevin!" (y/n) said as he transformed.

"Swmpfire, great choice sweetheart." I said, "I'M ON FIRE!" He shouted as he flailed his arm wildly and accidentally shot off a fireball hitting Kevin. "Did I do that?" He asked innocently as his arms grew and sagged down to the floor.
"Hey Mommy why'd the watch recharge so quickly?" (y/n) asked, "Don't know. Maybe you were just scared and felt your life was in imminent danger, but your guess is as good as mine." I said, "But Kevin's not scary, he's a teddy bear...unless you mess with the car." he said, "You two are spending way too much time together." I said as we walked out of the elevator, "Hey there Gwendolyn." a woman said as mana gathered around my hands, "Max?" I said as I looked over at her.

"Nice place you've got here." She said, "Oh you're here Max, yay." Kevin grumbled.
(y/n) POV
"Kevin who's she?" I asked, "Your Mom's old college roommate...and ex-girlfriend." he said, "HER WHAT?!" I said in shock, "It was a phase, honey." Mommy said, "Since when did you go and have a kid?" Max asked, "Hey there kid, I'm Maxine Turner. Sherif and Plumber." she said, "Now I know you have intro-level knowledge about Plubers and aliens thanks to your mom, but I'm gonna need you to give Auntie Max a big hug if you don't wanna die!" she said as she pulled me in close and drew a blaster that looked like a revolver and fired at the wall suddenly Ghostfreak lunged from the wall and scratched my arm, "Darn! The Ectonurite got away. You alright kiddo?" she asked, "Yeah, he just scratched me." I said, "But how did Ghostfreak get out of the watch?" I said, "Ben you didn't!" Mommy said as she activated the watch and scrolled through the available aliens, "Honey please tell me you only know about Ghostfreak cause Kevin told you about him trying to scare you!" she said worriedly, "No I used him to mess with Ted." I said, "Everyone to the Vault! Now!" Mommy said as she pushed us all into the elevator.
"Alright let's split up. I'll take (y/n), Gwen you, and Kevin head to the armory and gear up." Max said, "Absolutely not. My son is staying with me." Mommy said, "Gwen, your magic is useless against Ectonurite's, and we both know I'm the better shot. With me around (y/n) will be safe, and you know I won't let anything happen to him, not after Point Plesant." Max said, "You're bringing that up now? Max, there was nothing any of us could have done!" Mommy said, "I KNOW!" Max shouted, "Look it was my fault that...I'll keep (y/n) safe, and kill the Ectonurite before it can do any more damage." she said, "Bring my kid back to me Max. I want everyone back here in an hour!" Mommy said before Max and I ran off.
"Alright kiddo, I'm gonna need your help and trust." Max said, "See Auntie's guns aren't gonna do more than annoy that ghost. There's a powerful weapon in this vault but your mom didn't give me access. But that watch grants you access to all Plumber facilities unrestricted." she said, "Ok I trust you. You did save me from Ghostfreak and you're a Plumber, so you can't be all that bad, plus Mommy trusts you and so do I." I said with a smile before I hugged her. I opened the vault for her.
Max POV
"Thank you, sweetie, but what happens next is gonna hurt you far more than it'll hurt me." I said as I drew my blaster and shot (y/n) in the stomach and let him fall to the ground dead, "That's for Point Plesant." I said as I entered the vault to retrieve my prize. "Finally the Omnitrix is mine." I said as the Omnitrix latched onto my left wrist and adjusted itself to meet my preferences.

"It's perfect." I laughed, "I had a feeling you were bad. S-So I set your blasters to stun." (y/n) said as he struggled to get up, "Clever. But you won't be alive for too much longer." I said as I started firing after switching my blasters back to kill mode. "I WON'T LET YOU KILL HIM!" the Ectonurite said as it appeared out of nowhere and absorbed the shots, "I still need this brat alive." it said as it attacked me.
(y/n) POV
I watched Ghostfreak try to kill Max, "Pay attention (y/n), you might just learn something." Max said as she transformed.

"I'll call this one Kyberia." she said as she merged with the platform and generated guns to shoot at me and Ghostfreak, but a magic wall blocked the blasts, "(Y/N)!" Mommy yelled as she and Kevin ran to me, "Don't worry we'll take her down." Mommy said as she took her fighting stance and Kevin absorbed the metal from the walls and made his arms into blades.
