"Hey!" Madison shouted, waving the boy down. A bright smile was plastered on her face, one you would never tell was faux. She hugged a boy who stood 9 inches taller than her.

"Madison, so nice to see you again." He said. His voice sounded emotionless. There wasn't even a hint of joy behind it.

He probably doesn't want to see me right now. The girl thought. But I need to do this. She pushed a piece of dirty blond hair out of her eyes and gave a small smile.

"Oh my gosh! How are you Atlas?" Her voice got slightly louder with each word she spoke.

"I'm good. How about we quite down yeah?" He suggested.

"Oh, yeah. Sorry." Madison loosened her grip on the Atlas, stepping back and taking a long look at him, her nose scrunching. "You look different?"

"It's most likely the scar on my face. You weren't around when I got it."

"Huh, probably." She grabbed a piece of hair and began to twirl it with her index finger, her other arm was crossed over her chest.

"Well, I have to go Madison. Sorry to cut our reunion short."

"Oh! No, it's all good! Tell your parents that your past lover said hello!"

"I will." Atlas said, flashing the girl a fake smile. He put his helmet on and drove off, not giving Madison anymore attention.

"Ugh." She groaned. "What is wrong with me? 'Past lover'? What am I, delusional?"

Madison scowled at her choice of words and pulled her phone out of her bag. She went to her contacts and pulled up someone named 'Seán'.  She hit call, and let it ring three times before someone picked up.

"So, any information?" A husky voice said on the other line. They held a British accent and seemed to be eating something.

"I found him. Now, what do you want?"

"I want you to meet me tomorrow. In the alley behind the drugstore on 5th and Salic."

"Wow. I don't know you and you want to meet in an alley?"

"Yes, darling, it's my only way to go about business."

"What are you, a drug lord?"

"Yes." The person chuckled. "No, I'm not a drug lord. Why would I do business in America out of all places?"

"Fine. I'll meet with you on one condition."

"What's that?"

"You need to promise that you won't kill me."

"I want to make a deal with you. Why would I kill you?"

"You never know."

"Goodnight Madison. Tomorrow at five pm."

"Okay, got it. Good night."

Madison let out a huff and climbed out of bed. Her alarm blared through her room and she was quick to turn it off.

She briskly wandered into her bathroom and got herself ready for the day. Looking at herself in the mirror, a smile fell on her face, content with the way she looked. She wore a black blouse and flare pants of the same color.

"Madison! I'm on my way out now!" Her mother called from downstairs.

"Okay! Have a good day mom! Love you!"

"Love you too Madi!"

Madison walked over to her closet, searching for a sweater that would match her outfit. Once she found one, she slipped on her white Converse high tops and walked out of her room.
