Clack Clack Clack.
The action figure of All Might falls to the floor, due to the loosened grip of it's now Shell-shocked owner. Quirkless, he was Quirkless.

"What? Are you sure?" Inko asked I'm disbelief. "Im afraid so. After a few X-rays and blood tests, we have come to the conclusion that Izuku is, in fact, Quirkless. I'm sorry, kiddo." The doctor explained with pity.

Izuku couldn't hear him though. He had a blank face, and a thousand yard stare. Understandable, considering he was just basically told he couldn't achieve his dreams.

Inko sighed In despair and, with her quirk, floated the fallen All Might figure to her hand. "Ok, thank you for your time, Dr. Kurosaki. Come on, Izuku. It's time to go." She stood and grabbed her son, nodding to the doctor and exiting the room.

They walked through the lobby and out the door. Izuku was still unresponsive, just aimlessly, following his mother. As they reached the train, Izuku finally snapped out of his trance and started crying. When they say on the seats he burred his face into his mothers chest, sobbing.

She just sat and comforted him, rubbing his back and was tearing up, just barely managing to keep the tears in. By the time it was their stop, he stopped crying, just clinging to his mother. They got off the train and walked home. As soon as they were through the door, he ran to his room, and slammed the door.

Inko sighed and went to her room, and fell asleep. The next morning, Inko was awake earlier than usual, and by the time Izuku was awake, breakfast was made and on the table.
As Inko was about to knock on his door, it opened and he walked out. The poor child looked terrible, with visible tear tracks on his face, looking as tired as a certain pro hero.

"Hey mom." He croaked, his voice raspy. She said nothing, kneeling down and  bringing him into a hug. He returned it, and they just sat there for awhile, basking in the others embrace. After a while, they separated and sat down at the table, eating silently. When they were done, Inko expected Izuku to go back to his room, but to her surprise, he spoke.

"Mom? I have a question." He told her. "What is it, Honey?" He hesitated, before speaking again.  "Do....Do you think I can become a hero, e-even if I don't have a quirk?" He looked desperate. Inko wanted to say no, for his safety, she really did. But for some reason, she couldn't. The look in his eyes, the smallest amount of hope... Of Determination, made her believe he could.

"Izuku, I don't think you can become a hero. I know you can become a great hero. It doesn't matter if you have a quirk or not, If you train hard enough, You can, become an amazing hero. And, while it scares me to death, thinking of you being in so many dangerous situations, I will help you, however I can, because I love you, my baby boy."

Both were crying at this point, but instead of sadness, it was of joy, of happiness. "I love you too, mom.

And your right, I will become a hero!"
