The Fallen Hero: From hero to villain Pt 1

The day everything changed

Mikas POV
I watched as Chapa returned from her conversation with Bose, her face reflecting a mix of emotions. With a sense of concern and curiosity, I approached her, hoping she would confide in me.

"Hey, Chapa," I called out gently, trying to gauge her mood. "You seem a little off. Is everything okay?"

Chapa sighed, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Honestly, Mika, I'm tired of constantly being overshadowed by everyone else.  It's just disheartening, you know? "

"Well, maybe you should just embrace the fact that you're always in the background," I retorted, my voice sharper than intended. "You're not the star of Danger Force, Chapa. Maybe it's time you accepted that."

Chapa's eyes widened in surprise and hurt. I instantly regretted my words, realizing that I had crossed a line by adding to her already bruised feelings. Guilt washed over me, and I desperately searched for a way to rectify the damage I had caused.

"No, Chapa, I didn't mean that," I hurriedly said, my voice trembling with remorse. "I was just frustrated and lashed out in the heat of the moment. I'm sorry, it was uncalled for."

But the damage had been done, and I could see the hurt etched on Chapa's face. Without saying another word, she turned and ran away, seeking solace in her own company. Alone and filled with regret, I stood there with a heavy heart.

Realizing that I needed to make amends, I decided to chase after her, my guilt acting as a catalyst for my actions. As I caught up to Chapa, I found her sitting near the man's nest.

Deeply apologetic, I dropped to my knees beside her. "Chapa, I'm really sorry for what I said. I didn't mean it. We were just arguing, and I got carried away." Chapa looked at me and smiled. "I'm sorry Mika, but the damage is done. " She pushed something into my hands and got up. She ran away. "Stop! " I yelled after her. I looked at my hands and gasped, knowing what she was saying now...

Boses POV
Where the was Mika and Chapa? Just as I was going to knock something over, Mika walks in. "There you are! Where's Chapa? " I asked, panic rising inside of me. She shook her hand and put something in my hand. I look and my heart sinks. It was Chapas gum.

She quit.
