Bose's POV

I can't get in touch with Chapa. I leave her a message then get ready for bed. Later, I open a group chat with Miles and Mika. Miles is my close friend, but Mika is the one causing all the trouble.

"Any news from Chapa?" Mika asks.

"Nope," Miles replies.

I frown. I know something is wrong, so I decide to check on Chapa tomorrow.

The next morning, I wake up early and decide to go over to Chapa's house. I knock softly on the door and wait for a response. When no one answers, I try the door. It's unlocked. I go inside and see Chapa lying in her bed, still in her pajamas.

"Hey, are you okay?" I ask softly, approaching the bed.

Chapa looks up, surprised to see me there. She doesn't know how to answer, not wanting to burden me with her problems.

"I'm fine," she says quietly, even though I can tell it's a lie.

I look at her knowingly. "No, you're not. What happened yesterday?"

Chapa takes a deep breath and begins to explain everything that happened with Mika and the misunderstanding. As she speaks, I listen carefully, nodding in understanding. When Chapa finishes, I put a comforting hand on her arm.

"I'm sorry that happened," I say sympathetically. "Have you tried talking to Mika again?"

Chapa shakes her head. "Not really. I don't even know how to approach her after what happened."

I think for a moment. "Maybe I could talk to her for you? Clear things up?"

Chapa hesitates. She doesn't want me to get involved in her problems, but she also doesn't know what else to do. "I don't want to drag you into this mess," she says finally.

I smile at her. "It's not a mess if we can fix it. I want to help you, Chapa. That's what friends are for."

Chapa feels a wave of gratitude wash over her. She's lucky to have a friend like me. She nods slowly. "Okay. Thank you."

I give her a hug before leaving, promising to talk to Mika later that day. Chapa feels a sense of relief knowing that someone else is handling the situation. She gets out of bed and gets dressed, feeling slightly more optimistic about the day ahead.
