"But Dad!" I screamed out.
"No!" He yelled back furiously.
I grunted and stomped my foot on the floor. I slammed the door of my modeling studio and walked to the car. My dad quickly caught up.
"Skyler, we have talked about this. I will not let you join the hockey team." My dad said.
"Its co-ed!"
"Yes, but the hockey team as of right now, consist of only male athletes. This is a new school Sky! You don't know those boys!" My dad said waving his hands in the air. We both got in the car and started to argue again.
"Dad, its my senior year! Im going to college in 6 months its enough that you're making me move to a completely different school, but seriously?! Taking away hockey too? Coach Bryson said i was 2x better than any boy in my last school. I'm capable of doing it dad!"
"No Skyler."
"This is so unfair." I said. I have to admit i did act like a child, but it was hockey. Hockey was my life. I hate how my father and mother was so unfair.
"Dad, Our move has been the worst thing that has ever happened, you take away hockey, you take away my friends and you just...You take away EVERYTHING." I said
"Skyler, We moved here so you can pursue modeling-" he started saying. But I cut him off.
"Who said I wanted too! You didn't give me choice!" I started out saying.
"Let me Finish Skyler. We gave you EVERYTHING in Florida. Now, since we gave you everything, you have to do something for us. You have to model Skyler! You're not going to make it as a hockey player and dont you love that we will be living near Matt?" My dad said.
"I can at least try! And plus, you only want me to model for Layla, Kacey and Frachesca because you want their husbands to maintain your partnership with them and Matt and I barely spoke!"
"At least all I'm asking you to do is model! I just don't want you to do anything that with hurt your precious little face." He said. We pulled up to the drive way and entered our house. I did have to admit, every time I see this house, i was mesmerized by how big it was. A little to big for two controlling parents, me and my two brothers whom didn't give a shit about me.
Let me tell you a little bit of a backstory before you get confused. Ever since i was 3 and my parents needed partners for their hotels, I was alway dragged in to something. My Dad and Mother don't give a shit about me. They only care about making money and even though they tell me they care, i know they really don't. When i was 5 and my brother matt was 13, he took me on the skating rink and from then on... I fell in love with the sport. My brother Matt has distanced himself from my family and I and quickly moved out after college. He calls once every two months, and we call him on his birthday. He is 25 now. My brother Josh is 21 and he still lives with us as well my twin brother Noah, but he graduated early since he has enough credits and they both go to University of California Berkley.
Anyway my mother spotted me and tried to say something. However i walked passed her with out saying a word. I went to my room and shut the door. I closed my eyes and squished a pillow on my head. When will this day end?!

The next day was school. I woke up in a bad mood and I extremely tired. I rummaged through boxes and boxes of clothes and finally found something that I would be able to wear. Since it is January the Weather in California is still cold, I put on a shirt from my favorite band The Killers, a sweatshirt from my old hockey team The Florida Thunder and some Hollister skinny jeans and black converse. I curled my Brunet hair a bit and applied eye drops on my Hazel eyes. I looked at myself in the mirror one last time to decide wether i looked decent enough to go out.
I walked out and saw my twin brother Noah and Josh. They glanced at me and Noah said "So did you convince dad to let you play yet?" They asked. I shook my head and we walked to the kitchen. I grabbed an apple and some meal substitute shake.
"Need a ride Skyler?" My mom asked.
I glanced and gave her a dirty look. "No" i said.
"Don't forget sweetie you have a photoshoot this afternoon. Good Luck on your first day. Come give me a kiss." She said.
"Im gonna be late." I responded. I slammed the door to the garage and hopped in to my Porsche. Yes a Porsche. Before you call me spoiled, I paid for it with my own money that i receive from modeling plus, my grandma unfortunately died and she left all her money to me in her will. She was actually the only person that cared for me.
I pull up to school and stare at the building for a while.
"Nice ride." Some guy says. I glance over to me and notice the girl beside him. It was obviously his jealous girlfriend.
Oh lord... Today was going to be interesting
