The twins, Presley, and Grayson were all walking to the main hall when they heard a voice screaming at them "DIPPER MABLE OVER HERE!" May screamed while the other two beside her waved at them "Oh there your guys are! And Pacifica!" mable said launching to hug Pacifica "How was your trip to the greenhouse? Since ours to the stables was a total mess" may ask her younger brother "Mess? Did you two start a fight???" "no, just our little ty pod here," May said pointing at her twin. Everyone turned to him for an explanation "he started it, Now let's go to the main hall and find Belle and Mason before the place gets too full" Tyrone said pushing everyone to start walking to the main hall
Meanwhile with mason
Mason was making his way out of the library after not finding any books that he was interested in. Then he saw the blue demon that he met earlier looking a bit sad 'Looks like he didn't find the book he was looking for' Somehow he felt bad for him.
even though Mason wasn't the type to interfere with others' business especially a demon's at that, he decides why not, he didn't seem hostile before.
"Hey, couldn't find the book you were looking for?" the demon was startled looking surprised before answering
"Yeah... I guess it was to be suspected hehe.." he said trying to avoid eye contact
"did you try asking the librarian?" "yeah b-but he said it's not a book that the library has" he said sighing, who knew such a big library wouldn't have one simple novel but then again it isn't a very popular novel.
"Oh...but what's the name of the book you were looking for anyway?"
"i-i feel like even if i tell you the title you wouldn't know"
"just tell me, who knows maybe it's a book that also exists in my realm"
will was quiet for a bit 'should I? I mean there's no harm and my reputation is already ruined cuz of bill...'
"umm.. It's called 'Snakes Or Detective'"
"Snakes..or detective.."
"nevermind you probably don't know about it-"
"i do actually, i have all 3 volumes though i didn't bring the first volume.."
"it's fine you–Huh?!? You have all three???" will yell face written with 'shock'
"yup i'm into the whole mystery genre thing, i can lend you the book if you want" it seems the demon was still too shocked to make a response. Mason just waited 5 min for the demon to regain consciousness
"Sorry?!? Wait what??"
"i said i can lend you the book if you want" The demon paused again. Mason was starting to think he may be a million-year-old demon with how slow the demon was, while the same demon was only trying to calculate what price the human will demand
"hmm... Alright.. Name your price human!" the human stared back at him blankly
"huh a price... I actually didn't think of that.." "what-" "Alright! The price you need to pay is..." He didn't Think of a price?!? Great i just fucking sabotage myself, what is he gonna ask for?!? Will thought he was sure he's gonna get screwed over
"Teach me magic"
"Alright I'll– wait. That's it??"
"yeah, your a demon right? That should be an easy task for you"
"yeah but i thought you'd– actually yeah i can do that" i'm not throwing myself under the bus again will thought, its probably better to just get this deal over with
"So! Do we have a deal?" will said reaching his hand out with a wide smile on his face
"Of course" mason reaches his hand out shaking will's hand, when yellow flames came out of them sealing the deal. Will looked at the human's face not to see a shocked or scared face like most humans when they first make a deal with a demon but a sly smirk 'Maybe i'm the one that got myself into trouble'.
"HEY YOU!" they both look to where the voice came from to see the librarian "YEAH YOU! GO TO THE MAIN HALL DAMN IT! YOUR FIVE MINUTES LATE!" they both let go of each other's hand ready to run for their lives to the main hall "Wait! You can teleport right?" mason asked the demon "well yeah but- i umm don't know the place that well yet" "Just teleport us to the main hall HURRY!" mason yell shaking the demon back and forth, he wasn't going to get expelled from the academy just like that "Alright Alright stop shaking me first!".
Earlier...
"gosh this place is crowded how are we suppose to find Mason and Belle like this?" Pacifica asked trying to get through the crowd of people also going inside
"just find a really shiny and bright aura i'm sure it'll be easy-" Tyrone said before getting cut off by his younger sister
"Oh hey there she is!" mable said pointing at a section of the big tables where belle is doing her makeup with empty seats around her
"you weren't kidding when you said she has a bright aura around her... Not even the demons and monsters want to be near her.."
they all walked over to belle which wasn't hard with no one going to where belle was sitting
"Belle! Why are you alone? Where did mason go?" mable asked looking around
"we got separated while exploring also.. How and why did you make a clone of Pacifica and Gideon?" belle asked pointing at Presley and Grayson
"their my cousins for fucks sake"
"oh you're here to"
"Why you-"
"oki doki lets all just sit down now hahah"
mable said trying to break the tension.
They all sat down mable and dipper near the window, Pacifica next to mable, Presley and Grayson to the left of Belle, may to the right of belle and tyrone having to sit next to May and a stranger.
But before Tyrone sat down he felt a sense of familiarity to his right then he made eye contact with a certain redhead who now has a bandaid on his forehead.
"May Switch!"
"Pyronica Switch with me Now!"
They said in union, Tyrone grabbed May by the arm and slid her next to kill and kill switching his and Pyronica's positions by teleportation.
They both then proceed to glare at each other from their sits
"what up with them?" Grayson asked "That's the dude he fought with" Pacifica answered
"how is he alive again?"
"he's just lucky to be honest"
They all chatted for a bit and the tension between Kill and Tyrone has cool down
"Where is Mason? Everyone is sitting now and there's no sign of him" mable asked standing up and looking around for her oldest brother
"It's five minutes past the arranged time, he's never this late especially with this kind of occasion"
"do you think he's dead?!?"
"don't be stupid may if Tyrone survived a fight with a demon then mason can beat up one"
"ATTENTION STUDENTS IF–" Before the teacher could finish the entrench door slammed open to reveal Mason and a blue demon
"Ahem excuse my rude interruption and i also deeply apologize for being late" Mason said with a business smile shining brighter than his evil soul ever will, while the blue demon was still trying to catch his breath
"I'll let this one off, just sit down so we can continue"
"thank you-"
"MASON OVER HERE!"
"Oi Will WE'RE SITTING HERE!"
Mable and pyronica yelled
"seems like your friends are already sited, just go" the teacher said already done for the day
"yes" Mason said before dragging the exhausted demon with him too their sits, while walking there mason heard will whisper too him
'uh hey can i sit with you..? I dont wanna talk too my brothers right now and well-'
'sure'
they then sat between Grayson and Tyrone, with will looking a bit confused and everyone around them staring.
"psssttt will! Will hey pst will" the red-haired demon said trying to catch his brother's attention. Meanwhile will is ignoring him "CIPHER Sit DOWN And Be-" "i am sitting down" the demon said, sitting on the table in front of his blue brother "ON THE CHAIR" kill then slowly shifts to his sits with an annoyed expression "Now.... We Shall Begin The Wel–"
