ONE: Lost but found!

"Aah! So sorry! Didn't see you there!" She chuckled and bowed, a little embarrassed. She immediately flopped down to collect her items.

"No problem!" The voice said, as it bent down to help her pick up all the stuff off the street.

"It's okay! I can do it myself!" She said with a smile on her face, her eyes still searching for something on the street and her hands moving trying to reach every corner of the street.

"No! That's alright! Um, here! Is that what you were looking for?!" The voice said, giving her a notebook and a pair of earphones that had rolled down under one of the parked cars.

"Oh! Yes! Thanks!" She exclaimed, her voice filled with gleam. As she slid all the items in her huge black leather handbag, her shiny eyes met a pair of dark, beautiful ones.

"Hi! My name is Park Ara", she introduced herself, extending her hand.

"My name is Jeon Jungkook!" He responded, shaking her hand. "Nice to meet you!"

It was a bright morning, Ara had been in a hurry all along. From forgetting to lock the door of her dorm, to bumping into someone, she had been a total wreck this morning.

"I - I am sorry!" He suddenly chuckled, scratching the back of his neck. "But I have to ask! Um, are you-are you lost?!"

"It's that obvious, huh?!" She chuckled back.

"Well, you do look like someone who doesn't reside here", he continued.

"And you're absolutely right! I was actually born in Korea but moved to the States for--" She paused abruptly, realizing the sudden oversharing. "You know what, we just met!" she laughed.

"Yeah!" He chuckled. "Um, I was born in Korea and stayed in Korea", he added, emphasizing on the "stayed", making her smile harder. "So, I can help you find what you are looking for!"

"Oh god, thanks! That'll actually be great!" She breathed out. "Um, I am looking for Bighit Entertainment..."

"Oh yeah?!" He exclaimed. "Guess what!"

"Wh-what?!" She asked, a little confused.

"I'm a trainee there! We can walk together, if you are comfortable!"

"Did - did you just say, you are a trainee there?!" She blurted out, her voice filled with anticipation and excitement.

"Yeah, I suppose! Why?!"

"Um, never mind! Shall we start walking?!"

"Sure!" He replied, intrigued by their conversation.

Jungkook had just had breakfast when he thought of taking a stroll in the streets. He had had a pretty rough morning as well. He kept messing up his choreographies and was unable to reach the high notes and just to make things worse, the weighing machine didn't understand him either. He had put on 2 kilos! Ugh! At this point all he wanted to do was get out and have some fun.

"Um, so how long has it been since you became a trainee there?!"

"Its just been two days!"

"No way! That short?!"

"Yeah!" He faintly chuckled.

"So, um, tell me! Since you have been" "staying " here", she said, emphasizing on the "staying", making him smile. "You must have straight away given the offline audition, right?!" She continued.

"Yeah! That's correct! And i presume, since you are from the States, you must have given an online and an offline audition, right!?"

"That's correct, yes!" She replied.

"Okay!" He took a deep breath and stopped walking. "This conversation is way more boring than I expected it to be", he chuckled.

"Couldn't agree more!" She laughed.

"Anyway, I am going to go get some milkshake for myself, you mind waiting here? There's a convenient store just a block away..."

"Oh of course!" She smiled.

"Do you want some?!" He asked her, like a true gentleman.

"No, thanks! Um, I'm avoiding sugar."

"Yeah! No doubt!" He smiled. "Um, okay then! I'll be back in 5!" Saying that he jogged away.

It was 10:00 in the morning and Ara had a lots to do at her new agency. She had to find her new dorm, make new friends, get a hang of the schedule, buy new dresses for practice, go to the gym, continue writing her incomplete song, aah! She had lots to cover up and yet, here she was waiting for a guy she just met!

"Sorry! That took a while!" He came huffing with two bottles of coconut water in hand. "The crowd was crazy", he explained himself, as he panted, holding his knees.

"That's alright!" She smiled. "Breathe up!"

As his breathing normalised, he stretched back up. "Here!" He said, giving her one of the bottles.

"Th-thanks!" She answered with a pair of frowned eyebrows. "I thought you were gonna go buy a milkshake?!"

"I changed my mind!"

"That's good. This is a healthier option! Thanks!" She smiled.

"Yep! Let's go now, shall we?!" He said.

It was 10:50 and the heat was just increasing minute by minute.

"Man! I'm really glad you bought me one of those bottles too!" She huffed, as she opened the bottle and took a sip of the same, quenching her parched throat.

"Yeah! I'm proud of myself too!" He added, making her chuckle. "We are almost there!"

After a long, hectic, tiering walk, they finally reached. Ara and Jungkook were standing in front of The Bighit Entertainment.

"Wo-w!" She suddenly exclaimed. "That looks a lot more depressing than I thought it would!"

"Yeah!" He chuckled. "It's still a small company."

"No doubt!" She retorted.

They went in, he helped her register herself and finally reached the common area of "hangout". Atleast that's how he described that place to her.

"What the hell--!!" She said looking at the scene in front of her, her voice a little irritable. "That's a lot of trainees!"

"Yeah! What did you expect?! It's a lot competition, girl! Nothing comes easy!" He said.

"I know that!" She grunted. "Anyway, have you made any friends here?!"

"Oh yeah! Only 2 though!"

"That's great! Considering the fact that you have been here only for two days!"

"Oh! Here they come!!" He added and went towards them, dragging them towards her.

"Yah! What's with the rush!!" One of them snorted.

"Yeah! We are coming, dude!" Another one added.

As they came face to face, all of them got introduced to each other.

"This is Park Ara! Jungkook said. And these are Kim Taehyung and Park Jimin", he pointed at the two of them.

As soon as she met "his" eyes, it seemed as though the world around her stopped. Various scenes from the past were flashing right in front of her eyes. She felt incredible pain at that moment, but tried not to show it.

"Hi, Taehyung-ah! Long time no see!" She said, trying to keep up with a fake smile.

He, in turn, was dumbfounded! He couldn't believe that "she" was standing in front of him. Various thoughts jumped and backed off from his mind as well. All of it happened so quickly, he dazed out for a minute, but managed to gather himself together and responded, "Yeah! Long time!"

"You two know each other?!" Jimin questioned.

"Yeah! We dated for a year and a half and broke up 2 months ago!" She answered, her eyes attached to Taehyung's!

"Oh, boy!" Jimin sighed. "This is gonna be awkward!"
