Backstory: Alice was the second child born to a fairly well off and well liked family. Her brother had always been very athletic, more than most kids in the village so a lot of emphasis was put on him to get stronger and go on to do greater things to provide for the family.

Alice in the absence of her brother took on the caring role, helping her mother tend to the children and helping her father on the farm. Though when her youngest sibling was born, her mother died during childbirth causing her father to go into a deep depression.

Because of this Alice took on more responsibilities, caring for the children as her own and helping her now sickly father, as well as run the farm on her own
