" haechanie , give me an apple " mark requested
" No , go get yourself an apple. You have arms , use it " haechan was too busy putting his stuff into his bag
" Geez , okay " mark took an apple out of the fruit bowl
" You ready to go?" Mark asked
Haechan nodded and left. Mark came afterwards. They were in the car , mark driving " babe?"
" Yes?"
" After class , during lunch , do you want to sit with me?" Mark asked
" Uh.....will people be there? To criticize me?" Haechan was a bit skeptical of siting with mark during lunch cause his fans will obviously be there
" I don't think that there will be that much people or fans there. Let's hope that they won't be there or they won't be as much " mark kept glancing at haechan , giving him as much love before they act as if they don't like each other
" Okay "
They got to school and people always wonder why mark and haechan go/leave school together but mark always tells them " his mom ends work in the evenings so I have to drive him to school and back. I'm basically his driver "
Time skip to when class ends
" Haechan , do you want to sit at our table? Hm?" Jaemin asked as he is packing his books and supplies back into his bag
" Uh......I don't know......I was planning to seat with mark-" haechan was cut off when jaemin suddenly put his body weight on haechan. " Get off of me , you're heavy "
" You want to what now?! " Jaemin was absolutely flabbergasted by the news but he sat back down on his seat
" I-i said that I wanna sit with mark " haechan said , in a low voice , anxious for jaemins response
" I'm not being rude but you think that mark would accept? Especially his friends? I'm sorry but no , don't , don't hurt your feelings " jaemin put his hands on haechans shoulders
" Jaemin-"
" Just sit with us , okay?" Jaemin asked , haechan nodded. Before haechan could speak , jaemin left.
" Are you done with your chit chat and shenanigans? " Mrs Kim , who is the bossiest, sassiest, rudest teacher in school , asked
" Yes , ma'am. I'm leaving now " haechan packed all his stuff in his bag and left
LUNCHTIME
Haechan sees his friends waiting for him at their usual table. He came and sat next to jaemin and said " jaemin , you see when I said that I wanna go sit with the popular boys?"
Jaemin nodded. " I'm gonna go there and sit with them " haechan stood up , took his lunch when jaemin tried to stop him but didn't work. " Haechan , come back here!-"
Haechan left and went to go sit with the popular boys. " Hi , can I sit here?"
" Uh....yes-" mark was interrupted by his friend , jaehyun. Jaehyun looked at haechan in the eyes and said " no. Go sit somewhere else "
Mark looked at jaehyun , " But-". Jaehyun just gave mark one more look and said " leave him "
And with that , Jaemin and his friends looked at how mark and the others just hurt their friends feelings. Other people also looked at haechan and started mumbling, talking bad stuff about haechan
Mark saw how haechans eyes started to turn glassy , how haechans tears started to brim at the edge of his eyes. Mark felt hurt at the sight. And with that haechan ran to the bathroom with his lunch
" Is he okay?" Mark asked
" He's fine. Leave him to do nerdy stuff. Why you asking, you worried for that low profile thing?" Jeno asked
" No- nevermind " mark looked down. Even though mark can't be a good boyfriend as he wants to , he failed himself

Haechan went in the bathroom , locked himself in the bathroom stall and ate his lunch there.
Sadly , he continued to eat his lunch there , due to humiliation and just everywhere he goes, people will talk about him. Especially when he is seen with mark or anywhere near mark
Jaemin came inside and knocked on the stall door " haechan , are you okay?"
" Why does everyone keep asking me that? I'm not gonna die. Just let me eat " haechan spoke
" Wait? You are eating lunch in there?" When jaemin asked , some of marks fan girls came inside the bathroom
" Ew , that nerd is eating in the bathroom stall. Disgusting" girl #1 whispered to girl #2
" Which one?" Girl #2 asked
" The ugly one, obviously" girl #1 spoke before jaemin came to her
" Don't call my friend ugly " jaemin defended haechan
" Well , you look annoyed" girl #2 said
" I am annoyed by your presence" jaemin crossed his arms
" Rude" girl #1 rolled her eyes
" Whatever " jaemin spoke
" Im obviously prettier and has a good future than that rat named haechan " girl #2 put lipstick on her lips , facing the mirror
" A glowstick has a brighter future than you. Lasts longer in bed, too " jaemin clapped back
The girls were speechless. Girl #1 hair was so slick , you can tell that she used too much gel
" You should wear a condom on your head. If you're going to be a dick, you might as well dress like one. I'd smack you, but that would be animal abuse " jaemin roasted them
They were so flabbergasted that they just left
