"Come on; we're late!!," Joss yelled to the remaining bridesmaids as they entered their assigned limousines.
Joss entered, followed by Trina's other best friend, Toya, who entered the limo where Trina awaited, "It wouldn't be true a wedding if the bride isn't late." The best friends laughed as the vehicle began moving to their destination.
"The day is here," Toya cheesed. "Two years; it took us two years to reach this point." Trina expressed.
Memories of the multiple setbacks replayed in Trina's mind.

After the birth of their son, the trial began – an unnecessarily prolonged trial, but the results were satisfactory as Bradley had up to ten years, and Esme, including all of her prior charges, landed a fifteen-year sentence.
That's not even the events of Nikolas's return.
The resentment he still had for Spencer after his blackmail in the chapel. It was pure hell during that period, Nikolas pettily coming after Spencer – Spencer returning the energy by keeping Ace distant from Nikolas. A court case was pursued – the situation ultimately affecting Trina and their son.
Then the revealing of Ava's hand in Nikolas's disappearance.
It was one thing after the other – blow after blow. The relationship barely survived; the engagement was called off after a heated argument between the couple, but it was short-lived – they made up, realizing the stress and circumstances overwhelmed them.
They used the beginning of the current year to plan their wedding with the help of Maxie, who truly did not have to do anything but decorate since Trina already envisioned and portrayed what she wanted – what she and Spencer agreed on.
A winter wedding.

"Why did you guys choose winter?" Joss asked, "It's cheesy, really; we initially were going for summer because that was the season we met; Summer is always the time when something special happens for us, but since we're growing into a new chapter, we chose to start that chapter in a new season, and winter is the opposite of summer – the way we are to each other, in a weird way."
The girls gazed at her, "You are so in love, my sister." Toya tenderly told her. Trina nodded with a small smile as they felt the limo come to a halt.
The ushers of the church Trina attended and used for her wedding assisted the bridal party in the lineup of their entrance as Joss and Toya held Trina's dress and veil as the chauffeur held the vehicle door open.

"You ready? It took you both five years in total to reach this point." Cameron pat Spencer's shoulder as they sat in the front row – reserved for the bridal party, waiting for the ladies to arrive.
Spencer looked around the blue and silver-decorated church as he answered. "I'm ready, nervous but ready." He turned and smiled at his son, who sat behind him with his father, Laura, Kevin, and Ace.
Yes, despite it all – they made up and moved forward. Similar to Portia.
"She's here." he heard Portia whisper to him and Cameron as she hugged them. After she greeted his family and sat down with Zeke in the second row on the left side of the church – The bride's family was seated to the left, while the groom's family was to the right.
The relationship between Trina and Portia wasn't the same, but the reconciliation has started – at least, that's what Spencer hoped.
