Cortana's POV

"Amazing" I said as the wind of Sicily blew my luscious hair , another night and another successful mission, 3 down 2 more to go , I better get going before I get exposed.

I ran through the corridor looking for a possible exit, "no not this door" I said closing a door which led to a hall, I kept searching and finally found a balcony , I grabbed a rope from my bag , tied it to the steel, threw the ropes end down, grasped my bag and yeeted myself over the rail and down the building.

as soon as my feet touched the ground, I bolted towards my car before the guards get alerted, about only 3 meters away from the car an eruption of bullets jolted in every corner, shit!!!.

How the fuck did they find out, I thought the guards would be as stupid and incompetent like Severino but i thought wrong they turned out to be resistant , oh god what a day!, I rapidly entered the car with bullets still flying but I drove off, I swear if my car has a single bullet all of these teste Di cazzo's and the whole entire Maestri clan will pay soooo bad.

I arrived at the property and parked , as soon as I looked up I met Ronaldo's eyes knowing very well I'm In soup , I sighed grabbed my bag and got out the car.

"Cortana! What in the hell did you think you were doing on that mission!!?" My brother shouted in worry " sorry?" I said but it came out more like a question , "Cortana sorry doesn't help" he talked,

"I know" I Said massaging my temple's, " no Cortana you don't know , your watches connection signal was lost" he raised his voice even higher than it had been,

" I know it was lost, maybe I forgot to charge it i dunno" i raised my hands up in the air, " Cortana what's with this nonchalant behaviour, I could've lost you like her and I can't afford that"

he said with sad eyes while I remember what happened to her making my heart sink , "I'm sorry I'll be careful , honestly I have no idea how they caught up to me, I'm a fast runner" I said

"Go ahead" I said waiting to find out what it is, "this mission is very dangerous and when I say dangerous I mean life and death situation" he said with worry, hmm dangerous sounds exciting, I wonder what I'll encounter, " go and get some rest we will discuss the details tomorrow" he said,
