Chapter Eight

Mason blushed slightly as his eyes widened from the suddenness. He started fuming in rage as a fiery glow surrounded him as he walked to Jack an started cracking his knuckles. "I'm....going.....to....kil....you..." He said under his breath. Jack appeared behind Mason and started poking him on his shoulder. "Fine kill me...I was just trying to play around cause I know your sad about Felix too.....I was just trying to make you laugh....I guess I was wrong for doing that....but for a moment I actually wanted to kiss you for the hell of it." Mason scoffed still blushing faintly as he walked over to Jack with a frown and he leaned and pecked his lips at a unnoticeable speed and walked away...."just shut it." Jack's eyes widened not expecting such a thing. He closed his eyes in the moment and then slowly open them again after Mason released his lips from his. "Mason................w-what was that for?" "Payback.....if you make me feel....this....I'll make you feel the same...." Mason said with his eye twitching as he turned away from him and walked to felix and sat down next to her. Jack looked up at Mason after slouching over again and sighed. "I............I didn't know you liked men........let alone......me if you even had a slight crush on me." Jack then falls off his chair from slouching and just lays there on the floor looking at the ceiling. He felt strange and oddly more pleased by Mason so he looked at him and decided that he was gonna give up on Felix and let Him have her. "Hey,Felix's all yours man" he said beginning to stand up,slightly in pain from being kicked against the wall earlier. Mason's eyes widen at the fact that his rival was giving up."you're giving up?" Mason asked. Hearing Mason put it in such a cruel way, Jack began to look down at the floor. "I'm not giving up......I've just....I've just.......never mind" he said shaking his head,beginning to leave the room. Mason sighs and jumps onto his feet beginning to slowly follow jack with his hands in his pocket "what's up with him?" He thought as he raised an eyebrow in curiosity. Jack continued to walk away with his attention on the floor. He didn't think much of what he was saying before nor did he realize that when he was teasing Mason, he was more so teasing himself. Reason for that is because now his feelings are all mixed up between the time when he kissed Mason and the time when Mason kissed him. He didn't know why and he didn't know how all he knew is that something was strange within him and now suddenly he feels he's the one who's been crushing on Mason this whole time. Mason looked out the door to see Jack walking away in the distance. He grabbed the closest thing near him which was a random pair of Felix's panties. He smirked and took the pair and flew over to Jack stealthy like, quickly putting the panties onto his head and flew back to the house laughing. Jack stood there in silence and softly chuckled to himself as he looked up at the panties on his head. He didn't quite know how to react in the best way so he just walked back taking it as a sign that Mason didn't want him to leave just yet. As he walked in the room he looked over at Him and threw Felix's panties at his chest laughing alittle as began to sit on the floor. Mason took the panties from his chest and threw it back to Jack's face."what are you doing here Jack ? Didn't think you'd be back?" He said with a slight frown then started to smirk as he chuckled. Jack looked down still doubting that Felix would ever wake up and just the thought of that crushed him. He began to stare at the heart monitor that she was hooked up too showing the pace of her heart getting slower and slower. He then began to cry as he knew that she was hurting so he slowly got up an walked up to her and unplug her life support. "I.....I know your never coming back Felix.........I know that you weren't going to make it....not even the doctor could do much of anything." Mason sighed as he shook his head and started to tear up silently. He got up an walked over to the window and looked out of it sadly. He gripped his fists against the window sill, closing his eyes tightly with tears streaming down his face and then looked to Jack in rage. "H-how could you??!" Jack's eyes widened completely forgetting that Mason was in the room with them. He had tuned out everything and only focused on Felix and her heart monitor. He then closed his eyes and fell to his knees, not understanding why he did it either. "I-I......don't know." Mason gritted his teeth and grabbed Jack by the helm of his shirt lifting him up off the ground "y-you don't know?! You don't fucking know????" He then threw jack into the opposite wall. "I loved her!!!....you loved her!!! How could you kill her??" He walked over to Jack standing over him. As Jack was thrown against the wall one of his ribs shattered. He looked up at Mason and smiled knowing that he very much deserved what has been done to him and tried to speak but he couldn't because he was in to much pain. Mason tsked as he took a deep breathe in and then out as he walked around the room trying to calm down. He yelled and shouted "AHHHH!!!!" He pushed carts into the walls, tables and stands to the ground and the cabinets were forced shut by his fists . Lastly the empty bed next to Felix was thrown out of the room. Jack watched Mason loose his mind and began to cry to himself as he heard him scream. "M-Mason.....she wasn't going to wake up......she wasn't going to make it..........I'm sorry!!!!! She was suffering!!!" Mason panted heavily as he tried to relieve himself, he bent down leaning onto his knees looking at jack. He stood up fully and walked over to him and got onto his knees before Jack.
"First consider everyone else in this little equation of yours...!" He hissed at Jack with glowing red eyes. "Don't you think she might want to live???" Jack looked into masons eyes and realized what he had done. He thought he did the right thing by freeing her from suffering but he realized how much he hurt Mason. He slammed his hand against the wall and started to stand up a little but he was very much wobbly. "Mason.........I'm sorry." Mason stood up with Jack and slammed his fist against the wall next to jack's head just enough to crack the wall."Don't say it to me pretty boy...." Mason said calmly but with sadness in his voice. "Say it to your love life..." Jack stayed silent and started walking out of the house and just fell down onto the grass and kissed his life goodbye. He then punched himself in the stomach over and over again until he made himself puke. He didn't stop because the only thing that ran through his mind was how much he didn't deserve to live after what he had done. Mason followed Jack out and leaned on the wall of the house watching him and sighed as he pitied him. He walked over to Jack and pulled him onto his feet. "Come on man on your feet....and You know....killing yourself...won't solve this.." Mason said as he looked at Jack with a dull look. "Or anything at all." "Well It's better then having you hate me for something that I thought was right for the rest of my life......." Jack exclaimed pushing Mason off of him and walking further away. "I don't hate you Jack......I hate you're reason...how you did it" mason said with spite as he swift fully moved in front of Jack, staring him down. Mason closed his eyes and began to sigh "you know Jack....Felix is gone....I have no one else but you...I know it's selfish but I'm not letting you die Jack...." He said slightly emotional as he opens his eyes. Jack heard masons words and stopped walking, trying to figure out why he was saying those things. He turned his head a little over his shoulder so he could see Mason a little bit and began to ask him why. "M-Mason.....w-why are you saying all that?" He asked curiously. "Because,It's just...hard...after all that has happened...I can't just forget....and now with you and everything I am completely confused as to who I am." Mason said as his voice began to tremble.
