"Dougie" essence says tapping his arm.
"Hm" he says in a sleepy voice.
"Get up I gotta use the bathroom" essence says tryna get out his grip.
He smacks his teeth, "Bro just stay here wimmie" he says grabbing her tighter.
"Douse I'm finna piss myself, can you move?" Essence days sitting up.
"Ite bro" Dougie Said turning over in the bed.
Essence finally stands up. She walks toward the bathroom before turning around to dougie while he's on his phone.
"I know you not mad" essence says in a mug.
Dougie ignores her as she turns around shutting the bathroom door.
Soon after she uses the bathroom, she walks back in her bedroom and seeing dougie not in the bed, leaving his phone.
Essence was never the insecure type in the relationship, until her ex boyfriend Amari. When she broke up with him, she stayed on her P's and Q's.
Contemplating if she should go through the phone, she changed her clothes into something more covering.
"YOU CHEAT ON ME I SWEAR ILL BEAT YOU LIKE YOU STOLE SUM" dougie yells while drinking juice in the kitchen.
"Boy please, but I'm off work today, what you wanna do?" Essence says walking up to him.
"Well, I know what we can do" dougie says smiling and pulling essence closer.
"Mmcht, dougieee we always do that. We just did it last night" essence says.
Essence didn't like how dougie was treating her. The only romantic thing they have done was have sex, and essence really likes dougie. She steps out of her comfort zone just to try to open to dougie, but she feels as if it was a mistake.
"Baby I'm just playin chill" dougie says kissing her forehead.
"Let's go have fun tho, let's go out to eat and get drinks after and go to town square" dougie says.
"You know what, that sounds good. Let me call E and see if she can come" essence says walking back in the room to grab her phone.
As she's walking to the nightstand that contains her and doggies phone.
Picking up her phone and un-locking it, she calls Egypt.
"Besttt" Essence says
"Yoo squad what's goin on" Egypt says in her Chicago accent.
"Me and dougie wanted to do sum fun today since ion got work and shi" essence says playing with her lashes.
"Oh fr? What y'all tryna do" Egypt says.
"Well he said go out to eat, get drinks, and go to town square" Essence says.
"Wait, it's just gone be us three?" Egypt says.
"No girl we gone see if kay wanna come, but ian gone lie, he been acting strange lately." Essence says drinking her cup of cranberry juice.
"Shi, that ain't my problem nor my nigga, but what you mean weird" Egypt says.
"Like he was avoiding the conversation, cus him and dougie ending up coming back. Dougie staying the night and shi and I guess Kay lives in the same apartment complex as me" essence says.
