"Are you sure you want to do this?" I asked for the fiftieth time. "Yes, I'm positive," Blake replied. I sighed and grabbed his hand. "Don't worry love. Everything will work out," he added reassuringly. I nodded slowly. "Ready to go?" He asked, pecking my lips softly. I nodded and followed him towards the door. "It's okay," I reassured myself mentally. Everything would be all right. As we stepped outside the building and into the cold crisp ait. I closed my eyes and breathed in the fresh air.

It smelled of pine and winter jasmine as  well qs everything pleasant. I opened my eyes again and saw that Blake was watching me carefully. "Come on," he murmured, squeezing my hand gently. I smiled weakly as he led me across the street and toward the park. I was surprised to see a bunch of familiar faces waiting at the park entrance. I blinked, confused, and glanced over at Blake. "Who's these people?" I inquired curiously. He shrugged."They're the people who agreed to help out with the wedding." He explained. "Oh.." I said in understanding. We stopped in front of them.

I looked around, noticing a girl in a red sweater dress and a boy in a white tuxedo. They were both smiling widely as if they had won some sort of lottery. "Hi guys," Blake called out to them. They turned and grinned wider. "Heeeeey, Mr. & Mrs. Jones," One of the girls exclaimed happily. "Nice place you got here." Another girl remarked as they walked towards us. "Thanks, Where's your fiancé?" Blake asked them. "In the car," a third girl said cheerily. She gestured behind herself, where there was indeed an expensive looking black sedan parked in the shade of some trees. Blake frowned. "Why is there a car here?" I asked curiously, looking over at the car questionably.

I turned back to the three girls. "My mom's taking us to dinner," the red haired girl explained with a grin. I nodded slowly. "Yeah, we knew that." Blake chuckled. "Your dad will join us soon." I smiled and nodded. "Okay."

"Hey, guys, come on! Let's get going!" The girl called after us impatiently. "See you later!" I yelled over my shoulder before starting to walk again. "What did you tell your parents about us?" I asked Blake curiously, glancing up at him briefly.

"Just that I met someone special at work who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with," he replied simply. "Really?" I asked, smiling widely. He nodded. "Yes, really." I stared up at him, feeling my heart swell with happiness. I couldn't believe that this wonderful, intelligent man wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. It seemed unreal. I leaned up and pressed my lips softly to his. "I love you, Blake," I whispered. He grinned and pulled me even closer to him. "I love you more," he replied breathlessly. When we reached the parking lot, Blake helped me out of the backseat of the car and handed me my purse which I had slung over my shoulder once we were outside. I locked the car and followed Blake into the restaurant. When I entered, everyone's eyes instantly fell on me.

I smiled nervously and ducked my head slightly. "Victoria?!" Someone cried in surprise. I looked up and saw my mom rushing over to me with open arms. I ran into her embrace and hugged her tightly. I could feel tears gathering in my eyes. My mom held me tight. "I'm so proud of you, darling," she told me with a shaky voice. "You have no idea how much I wanted you to be happy." I sniffed and nodded in acknowledgement. "How long have you been planning this wedding?" My mom questioned curiously. "A year or two," I answered.

"Wow," She muttered, smiling slightly. I laughed lightly. "How many times can you make a mistake before you learn your lesson, Victoria?" She asked, smiling lovingly at me. I laughed. "Probably not very often," I admitted. She shook her head and took my arm. "Come on, let's sit down. I think we deserve to celebrate a little bit tonight." I grinned and nodded enthusiastically. "Of course!"
