3rd P.O.V
Sonic raced home once he got there he saw amm standing in the rain soaked.
"Hehe... Sorry I am late Amy." Sonic apologized
Amy crossed her arms while looking up and down at Sonic seeing his muddy clothes.
"Why are you so muddy?" She asked him
"Oh, I was just doing a race with Shadow near the beach. I ended up slipping on the mud and fell in a bush. Shadow won." Sonic replied muttering the last part.
"What was that?" Amy asked
"Nothing, let's just go inside" Sonic said
"Yeah, I am tired of standing here." Amy said
"Then why didn't you go home?" Sonic questioned while he unlocked his door to his hous.
"Because I was waiting for you. But I see that your little race was in the way." She told him
"What do you mean by that?" Sonic questioned as he look over at her stopping on what he was doing.
"I mean I am tired of waiting for you to finish a race with that copy of yours." Amy said
Sonic didn't say another word he unlocked his door walked in and shut it behind. Leaving Amy locked out in the storm.
"Sonic I didn't mean to say that! I know you like racing and beating Shadow but come on! I am really sorry!" Amy tried to apologized.
Sonic didn't come out of the house. Amy thought that maybe she could talk to Shadow and ask him to stop racing he crush. She raced to Shadow's house.
Shadow's P.O.V
I was in my house reading a book when there was a knock on my door. I looked at the time 11:00 pm it read. I got up and grabbed one of my small guns.
"Why is someone knocking on my door at this time of night?" I thought
I opened the door to reveal a pink hedgehog.
"Great it's Amy! Shouldn't she be on a date with Sonic?" I thought to myself
"Shadow, So good to see you. Can I ask you to do me a favor?" She asked me
I looked at her and came up with a reply
"Whats in it for me?" I asked her
"You don't get to see Sonic agian like forever." She replied
"... but I liked his company... Wait what am I thinking?" I thought
"So?" Amy asked
"Just say what your favor is and leave!" I siad sternly while loading my gun.
"I want you to stop racing and being around Sonic." She spit
"Why?" I asked looking down at her
"Because your play is ruining my chance with him." Amy told me
I thought for a minute because I knew that wouldn't happen
"Fine." I lied
"Great thanks, Shadow" Amy said excited and ran off home in the storm
I closed my door and went back reading.
Morning
It was morning, I didn't sleep last night. I got up and yawned and went to get ready for the day. I decided to go to the store since I need food to live. I lived in the woods it was a far walk to the town but I didn't care.
On my way to the town I saw a blue blur ran past and stopped in front of me. Our noses where almost touching. I looked down to gree eyes staring into my ruby red ones. I knew it was Sonic. I pushed him off and counted my walk.
"Where you going?" Sonic asked me
"To the town." I replied not looking back
"Why you going to the town?" Sonic asked again
"God he is annoying!" I thought
"I need food to live, Faker" I replied
"Want to race there?" He asked
I stopped and looked back at him.
"Amy said no more racing." I said
"So your going to let Amy tell you what to do?" Sonic asked rubbing his finger under his nose
"No" I answered
"Then you will race me." Sonic said with a small smile
I got to say he was right I wasn't going to let Amy tell me what to do. I smirked at him and walked back to him.
We got into are starting position, Sonic counted down and off we went we raced from the woods through the canyon and stopped at the town when the race finished. It was a tie.
"Dang, though I would beat you this time!" Sonic said
"Not in a long shot." I smirked and walked into the store.
Sonic followed after me.
3rd P.O.V
Sonic looked around the store while Shadow got what he needed. When Shadow finished he paid and walked out, Sonic soon followed.
"Why are you following me?" Shadow asked as he held his bag of food in his left hand and an emerald in the other.
"I just wanted to hang out with you." Sonic replied fast
"Why?" Shadow questioned
"No reason...... I ummm can help you unpack your groceries?" Sonic stuttered to say
Shadow looked at Sonic confused but shook it off. Shadow wrapped his left arm around Sonic's neck and teleported to Shadow's house.
