It is very important that this is read!!!
Firstly, Aegon will not be a rapist in this- I don't really understand why they made him one in the show (I understand canonically and all of that, but most of the men are but they chose only to demonize Aegon for it) it makes the him we see in episode 8 and episode 9 feel like completely different people almost. The writing for him is so good and then suddenly we get this terrible thing he's done- I wouldn't mind this if they were fair in bringing up terrible things characters have done (cough daemon cough). I don't want anyone to mention "but he was rumored too in the books"- the books aren't even a reliable resource in the first place. Do I think Aegon is a good dude? Hell no. But Tom Glynn-Carney is so goddamn beautiful that I can make it work.
Secondly, I will always clarify Aegon/Elena's age at the beginning of a chapter- along with the year. I encourage nobody to really take a deep dive into the timeline because I struggled to put something together that would kind of work and even still I find random things that make no sense. Characters are aged up from canon, but this is also due to the casting and the fact we didn't get any character canon ages for the show aside from maybe Joffery.
Also, if you are here just to spread Team Green hate or Aegon hate just leave because it's kinda embarrassing to harass people over their favorite characters- I don't like Daemon but y'all don't see me commenting hate under edits of him or fanfics of him. I really wanna go off on a tangent about the way 'team black' (I say this because real supporters of the series can respect different opinions) supporters harass anyone who mentions liking team green, but I'll hold back for right now.
Finally, (I think) I cannot control the weird stuff that happens in the aSoIaF universe. Well technically since this is fanfiction I could- but GRRM made writing fanfiction for this already incredibly hard I'll let him keep the weird ass things.
