Elijah (forgetting)

You were laying in your bed wide awake waiting for your alarm to go off and when it did you jump out of bed and got ready because today was your birthday, you went downstairs to see your parents but they weren't there probably at work you assumed so you made yourself cereal and cleaned up

You then got a text from your boyfriend Elijah

Hey you gonna come Over

Sure you responded thinking they had something planned for your birthday you got into your car and headed to there house and when you got there, there were decorations and balloons everywhere on the porch, you walked in to see everyone with a cake and everything

"Oh good y/n your here we Brittany about to be here we need to hid so we can surprise her for her birthday" Elijah said after hugging you and pulling you to a hiding spot, you didn't know what was happening they did know today was your birthday right

Brittany then got there and they all shouted surprise, and they all started laughing and getting together and doing games and stuff
"Hey babe you ok?" Elijah said walking up to you "uhh yeah I just forgot I left something in my car so I gotta go get it" you replied walking out the door 

You then got into your car letting your tears fall you put your head to your steering wheel while crying softly,and you decided to just go home so you turned on your car and left

Elijah came out to get you since you were taking awhile but you weren't there he then saw David and Jessica walking towards the house with gifts so Elijah stopped them

"Hey guys have you seen y/n she came out here and I don't know where she is?" Elijah asked "y/n left her own party that's weird" David said
"What do you mean left her own party?" Elijah questioned " well this is her party right, I mean todays y/n's birthday" Jessica said back " what?" Elijah said in shock " yeah what did you like forget?" David asked "oh he did" Jessica said to David looking at Elijah's face which looked in horror " well bro go to her" David said "ok I am" Elijah said getting into the car and driving to your house

You were laying on your bed, tears falling down your face, thinking the worst of everything until you heard a knock on your window you looked at it to see Elijah and a big bag you wiped your tears and opened the window while Elijah crawled inside, " you know I have a front door right" you said laughing wiping a few more tears that had fallen and seeing you like that made Elijah feel worst

"Look y/n I really sorry I miss matched my calendar I put your birthday for this next Saturday and Brittany's this Saturday it was supposed to be the other way around I'm really sorry could you forgive me?" He said in sorrow
" of course Elijah I love you even if you are really forgetful" you replied giving him a hug

" well good thing you forgave me or I wouldn't be able to give you your gifts" he said back as he opened the bag and he pulled out candy, chocolate,a small cake, a card, a stuffed animal, and a small bracelet, "Elijah you didn't have to do this, how much did all of this even cost?" You responded, "let's just say I am pretty broke right now but that doesn't matter because my love for you matters more I love you so much y/n and I am so sorry for not giving you a better birthd-!"

Elijah was saying before you cut him off by putting your hand over his mouth " I think I understand and to me this is a wonderful birthday, I love you to." You said back to him removing your hand from his face and bring your lips to fill in the space on his lips

"Happy birthday y/n" he says before kissing you again.
