Elijah: a stupid secret

Before I start did all of you know Mary is a Nelson as well just checking with y'all. Also this is like a shy, quiet reader kinda type.

You were sitting on Shiloh's bed talking to Shiloh,Brittany,and Mary, it was all going fine until they started bringing up crush's, they all started talking but you sat quietly, until Mary started asking questions

"Y/n who's your crush?" Mary asked
"I-I don't have one" you replied but they just looked at each other and smirked then looked back to you "are you sure there isn't a boy that has caught your eye?" Brittany says with a huge smirk on her face "uhh" you said shifting around where you were sitting

"Come on y/n, you can tell us it's fine, it's not like it's one of my brothers" Shiloh says laughing and Mary starts laughing too, you looked down kinda embarrassed and Shiloh stopped laughing abruptly "wait is it one of my-" she then starts laughing so hard is starts snorting, Brittany stops her laughing and talks again

"Well y/n which on do you like?" Brittany asks
"Umm it's uh e-Elijah" you say very faintly
"What?" Mary says still giggling, "I like Elijah"
"What!" The girls said then you heard more screams from the other side of the door "WHAT!!!" suddenly the door bursts open to show all the Nelson boys, all the girls turn wide eyed towards them including you

The boys just all stare at you, but Elijah he was looking down, "y/n I-" Elijah starts but you cut him off "I gotta go" you grab your bag and run past them out of the house, Brittany drove you over so that meant you would have to walk, you walked about for 30 mins before taking a break sitting on a curb, you let a few tears fall thinking of the moments that happened not so long before

After about 2 minutes sitting there, a car rolls up to you and parks, you look to see Elijah's face hanging out of the window, you wipe your tears then get up to walk again but every step you take he drives to the side of you "y/n just get in the car, you know my mom would kill me, if I left you out here" he says towards you, you stop walking and turn to him, you sigh then speak "fine"

He stops the car and lets you walk around and get in the passenger seat, before starting to drive again after 5 minutes of silence Elijah breaks it "so you wanna talk ab-" once again you cut him off "no it was just a stupid secret, and i think it would be better if you pretended I never said anything and we just left each other alone"

He turns to look at you, then back at the road
"Well what if I don't wanna pretend or leave you alone, what if I don't think it's stupid"
You turn to look at him but he is paying attention to the road, after a minute he turns into your driveway and parks the car,but before you can get out, he grabs your arm "wait" he said looking at your eyes

You turn towards him, and wait for what he has to say "y/n I really do like you too and I don't wanna just pretend that there isn't something, because there is, and I think you can see it too, what I'm saying is would you maybe wanna be my girlfriend" your straight face slowly went into a smile and you were blushing, you didn't even realize that you haven't given him an answer

"Oh y-yes" you say with a little sweet smile, he smiles back and looks into your eyes, you do too and he starts to lean in but stops himself
Then he asks "may I kiss you?", you smirk and nod for approval and he just smiles back before leaning in and kissing you on the lips

It was the most perfect thing you have experienced in your whole life, it was passionate and full of heart, he smiled into the kiss and grabbed your waist pulling you closer, you put your hands on both sides of his face,it was wonderful.....

You both then hear a knock on your side of the window and you turn around to see your mother, she then opens the car and looks inside kinda angry looking "are you kissing? Out of this car right now" she says dragging you out and then turning towards Elijah "it's always the tall ones" she says with a devil-like smile " my apologies Mrs. Y/l/n" Elijah says back trying not to smile and look apologetic

You mother then gets out of the car and turns towards you, you just smile at Elijah "bye" you say with a wave, you mother then hits the back of your head not that hard but still a little and then drags you away, you still can't help but smile then walk inside your house, Elijah just smiles to himself and turns the key in the car and drives back home with a can't wait till tomorrow mindset.
