Chapter 6
As Zhang Jianjun's body temperature gradually decreased, Zhang Xiaojun's heart became less tense and panicked than before. Calming down, he began to feel the comforting warmth of the place where they had arrived, unlike the coldness outside. Gradually, without realizing it, he leaned against Zhang Jianjun and fell asleep.
"Hm? Where am I?" Zhang Jianjun rubbed his eyes as he woke up and looked around. It seemed different from the cave! Rubbing his eyes a couple more times, he finally recognized that this was indeed a different place, and strangely, it felt familiar. After settling Zhang Xiaojun, who was sleeping next to him, he looked around and suddenly, a display screen appeared out of nowhere, with the words "Small Farm" written on it, along with an account and password.
Seeing this situation before his eyes, Zhang Jianjun suddenly remembered. Wasn't this the farming game he used to play to relieve stress before he time-traveled? How did it suddenly follow him here? Could it be because he had a protagonist's aura?
Setting aside those random thoughts, Zhang Jianjun happily entered his previous account and password, thankful that he still remembered them; otherwise, he would be helplessly watching.
Upon entering, Zhang Jianjun realized that he wasn't the sole owner, but rather in a subordinate position. In other words, the true owner of this small farm was his sleeping son, Zhang Xiaojun. If it weren't for Zhang Xiaojun accidentally bringing him in, he might never have known about this!
Zhang Jianjun was stunned by this outcome. It was clearly his own possession, yet it didn't truly belong to him. What on earth was going on? However, he couldn't help but think that if he unexpectedly left, Zhang Xiaojun would have this trump card to rely on for a living, and he wouldn't feel as distressed. After all, life was difficult, and having a little more security would make it easier.
Putting aside those complicated thoughts, Zhang Jianjun continued to read the instructions. It turned out that he had been brought into this era without reason and, as compensation, the farm game he used to play had been turned into a real-life setting that came along with him. However, there had been an error during the binding process, and somehow, it recognized Zhang Xiaojun as the designated person. Zhang Jianjun guessed that the dream Zhang Xiaojun mentioned a couple of days ago was probably the result of him completing the binding process and glimpsing the scene.
In fact, other people could also be added to this small farm, but for the sake of safety, Zhang Jianjun permanently closed this option. In other words, besides himself and Zhang Xiaojun, no one else could enter.
In addition, there was a more concealed permission: Zhang Xiaojun had the ability to revoke Zhang Jianjun's access and prevent him from entering the farm. But who made Zhang Jianjun not the true owner? Now, Zhang Jianjun had also deleted this permission, thanks to it being his first time entering and not having input Zhang Xiaojun's data yet. Coupled with Zhang Jianjun's familiarity with the small farm game, he managed to do it. Otherwise, it would be hard to say what would happen next time.
After taking precautions, Zhang Jianjun finally began to explore its features. The weather in the small farm could be adjusted to ensure the optimal growing time for crops. If not adjusted, it would follow the time outside.
Furthermore, the small farm had a self-healing function, which was why Zhang Jianjun's fever subsided upon entering. Additionally, the small farm did not provide seeds for planting; they had to be obtained through their own means. Apart from the fields, areas such as small hills, rivers, and places for breeding were not automatically accessible and required points for redemption.
These points could be earned by selling the crops they cultivated. The farm automatically determined the prices of the crops, which were the points Zhang Jianjun and the others needed to acquire.
