Telling someone you love them is a BIG commitment.
It's one that my father couldn't make, so he broke that with my mum. Sure he pretended he loved me and my siblings, but he'd never actually shown it.
To me, gifts meant nothing. Words meant nothing.
I needed actions, ones that included him not cheating on my mum.
His affairs were an old thing, though. He's always with someone, his most casual fling his secretary.
To say he wasn't handsome was a lie, so I knew how easy he could move on. But he didn't have to, no, he chose to.
I walk into school and feel a heavy tug in my heart. I was filled with nerves and I didn't even know why. I don't think I have anything important on today? Or maybe I do, that's why I felt like this.
I walk in and as I take my first step, I hear whispering.
This meant news.
I walk to my locker like every morning, to find Sasha and Selena standing next to it.
"You have news?" I ask.
"Big news." Sasha says.
"So, remember Atlas..?" Selena says to which I nod, "He's back."
"I though he was expelled?" I reply.
"So did we, but, apparently not, he only dropped out of here and went to Italy because.. well no one really knows.." Sasha says.
I hum, "That. Does not sound like my problem though." I smile at her.
"But apparently he's hot-" Selena says.
"Still. I have Ivan." I remind her.
"Oh my god!" Selena squeals, "How did your date go yesterday with him?"
"It wasn't a date." I tell her, "But good."
"Ahhh!" Sasha yells, "I CAN ALREAD SEE YOUR CHILDREN!"
"Too loud, Sasha." Selena and I laugh.
"No children." I tell her.
"Not yet." She mumbles.
I roll my eyes as we walk through the corridors, trying to find the rest of our group.
"Sophia!" Someone yells, making me turn around. A smile spreads on my face as I see who it was, Ivan.
"Hey!" I say as we go closer.
"Hi Soph." Max says, not looking up from his phone.
