( It was a lovely morning at the palace, Charlotte was busy on keeping the children in order while William is busy with little Charlie )

Charlotte: children! It's time for lunch come now! Make haste.

Harriet: coming mummy
Edmund: right away, mummy

William: I'm glad they're getting much respectful as they grow

Charlotte: I know, and I think I need charlie now, love

William: but he likes my kisses

( He continued to kiss Charlie's chubby cheeks )

Charlotte: you shall continue later, haha come now sweetie.

William: ugghh.. well then I shall tickle this one instead.

( He tickled Edmund )

Charlotte: he's eating

( Just then a letter for Charlotte arrived )

Butler: a letter, your grace

Charlotte: a letter from whom?

Butler: from the Viscountess Bridgerton, your grace

Charlotte: oh, thank you

/ Bow /

William: a letter from your mother?

Charlotte: yes

Dear Charlotte,

I just want to tell you that your dear brother, Colin has announced his engagement to Marina Thompson, you know the distant cousin of Lord Featherington. I know you might be shock by this news and so did everyone in our family, he announced it publicly at the garden party just this morning. I have a favor could you just send a letter to your brother so he can feel that everyone is happy for him. I hope your doing well dearest.

( Charlotte was shocked of the surprise news )

William: you don't look so pleased, love, what does it say?

Charlotte: it's Colin

William: has something happened to him?

Charlotte: he's engaged to Marina Thompson

William: the girl from the Featherington, yes?

Charlotte: yes, her

William: you don't look so pleased

Charlotte: well, don't you think it's too soon, I mean Daphne just got married and now he's getting married, it's just too soon

William: I know, love but if he's happy with her why not

Charlotte: my family didn't even knew they were courting, I wonder how Anthony reacted

William: he's confused I believe, confuse and disappointed

( Later that evening Charlotte decided to write a letter to Colin )

Dear Colin,

Dear brother I am mesmerized by the news that you and Miss Thompson are to be wed, I must say I was shocked but I knew this is what you want getting married and have your own family. If your wondering how I knew about the news all the way here, mother wrote to me this morning, again brother congratulations to you and Miss Thompson.

- Next morning -

( The very next morning Charlotte woke up and saw William in the tea room holding a whistledown sheet )

William: good morning, my love

Charlotte: good morning, what is that? Is that Whistledown?

William: believe so, you cannot believe what whistledown just wrote

( William gave the Whistledown to Charlotte and she read it, Miss Marina Thompson is with child, and she was planning on marrying Colin so she could say it was his )

Charlotte: my goodness

William: shall we go?

Charlotte: we shall right away, Anne!

Anne: your grace?

Charlotte: ready the carriage, William and I are set to return to London

Anne: what about the children? Your grace?

Charlotte: they shall stay, I believe they aren't needed for the adults matter

Anne: yes, your grace

( William and Charlotte said their goodbyes to their children and they went off to London )
