Georgie paced back and forth holding the box with a pregnancy test inside. she had yet to take it and Violet was trying to calm the girl down. it wasn't going well.

"Gee, its gonna be okay." Vi assured.

"no it's not. if this is positive..." Georgie trailed off, "my life is over. I don't know what I'll do."

Violet sighed, "Georgie, you're 30. you always said you wanted kids eventually. maybe it's a sign. just go take the test."

Georgie groaned but followed the instruction, heading into the bathroom with the test. Violet waited outside, just as anxious as her best friend. one minute passed. and then two.

"well?" Violet called out.

a frown on her face, Georgie walked out, holding the test upside down. "I can't look. you tell me."

Violet laughed softly as Georgie handed her the test. she turned it over and stared at it herself for a moment. she then looked up and made eye contact with a worried Georgie.

"its negative."

"huh?" Georgie gasped, "wait... that a good thing, right? I don't need a baby."

Georgie began tearing up.

"then why are you crying, Gee?" Violet asked, softly.

"I don't... I don't know. I just... maybe I did kinda... no I don't." Georgie sobbed. "it would've been nice i guess but this is fine. its good."

Violet hummed, "it's positive."

"what?" Georgie shouted, "you Phoebe-ed me!"

"I wanted to see your real reaction. I know what you want deep down, Georgie." Violet told her.

"fuck. I'm having a baby." Georgie whispered.

Violet instantly brought the emotional girl in for a hug.
