"Hello, is someone home? I think I can hear some steps...buuu" I laughed while seeing little Ronnie's scared face
"Florenceeee hiyaaa" Ronnie shouted climbing on my leg for a hug
"Oh my favorite little boy" I mumbled while my cheek was squeezed against Ronnie's since i picked him up for a hug
"Hey Florence, how are you?" Rebecca smiled while giving me a side hug since I was holding Ronnie on the other side
"I'm good Becca, I've been excited the whole day to meet you guys" I said with an eye reaching smile, before letting Ronnie down
"Well Phil is at training and I was just about to remove my nail polish" She spoke while walking towards the livning room with me behind
"So what color are we thinking tonight?" I asked her with a smile
"I was thinking light pink but I'm not sure, what do you think?" She asked while washing her hands
"I think it will look super good, let's start" I smiled while ruffling Ronnies hair before sitting down
I've known Rebecca for years now, around 6 years. We met at an concert and been best friend since. And that is also the reason behind me being Ronnies godmother. I've spent a lot of time with Ronnie, being his nanny often and just spent nice time, he's a cute happy boy. I'd rather spend time with Ronnie then anyone else, he's my little "el wey"
"Hey I'm home" A voice sounded with the front door opening
"Daaaaad" Ronnie shouted like crazy making me let out a little laugh
"Eyyyy Ronnie" Phil smiled while throwing Ronnie in the air before catching him touching his nose with his own
"Daaad, dad! Florence is hereeeee aaaahhhh" He shouted before forcing Phil to put him down
I let out a little laugh before walking over to Phil giving him a hug, "How was the training?" I asked nocticing his red face
"Like usual, tuff but fun, are you joining training tomorrow?"
"Yeah I'm planning on it" I explained
"Alright I gotta take the kids to bed but I'll see you tomorrow then" He smiled giving me a quick hug before going up stairs, making me stand in the hallway with a smile
"Well Florence is going home now Ronnie, are you going to say goodbye?" Rebecca asked while looking at Ronnie in her arms
"Bye Florence" He waved lying his head in the crook of Rebeccas neck
"By little man, I'll see you soon" I smiled while stroking his back, giving Rebecca a side hug before leaving
When I had quietly shut the door, I made my way over to my pink bike. My precious thing. I unlocked it, putting the lock in the basket before making my way home. It was warm outside, but not too warm it was perfect.
