Fifteen

~Four Weeks Later~

"I swear if that human is still alive I'm forcing Edward to kill her" shaking my head as Demetri and I run to the Cullen house. It has been four weeks and Demetri tells me how Edward is back in Washington, so that means the honeymoon is over and now it means that the human better be turned.

"Those Cullens better have an excuse for her death" Demetri says. Just as we are outside of the Cullens house, I listen closely and snarl "Never mind—her death will be my mate" I jump down and slam the front door open "EDWARD ANTHONY MASEN JUNIOR!" I scream storming up the steps, Carlisle goes to greet me and I shove him back that he flies through the wall "YOU KILL THAT HUMAN RIGHT NOW!"

When I enter the room, Rosalie is before the human who looks at me fearful. The Cullens look ready to attack, so I pull out my whip and any thought any of them have backs down but Rosalie "Why are you" Demetri asks "protecting the human?"

"Violet" Edward is next to me whispering "there's something I need to tell you"

"Like why that human is still fucking human!" I yell at him "Someone tell me this instant before people become dust!"

"I'm pregnant!" The human cries, Rosalie is using her body protecting her as we see the human's five month stomach. We don't hear any heartbeat though, looking at the human it explains why she looks more deathly pale.

"No" Edward shakes his head "your both not hallucinating"

Looking at Edward "I told you, I told you many many times—Demetri even gave you a safe sex lesson!" Emmett snorts, I snap my head to him and any amusement he had is wiped away.

"Got" he lies "something flew in my throat"

Looking at Edward "Now" Rosalie says "you know why you can't kill the human"

"All I see is a human incubator growing a potential immortal child" I say, Rosalie growls and I growl back at her. Emmett goes to his mates side growling and Demetri is next to me growling.

"It's an innocent baby!" Rosalie exclaims

"That thing" Demetri snarls "inside of that human is no baby, if it was then it wouldn't be killing it"

"Demetri" I order "Call Aro"

"No!" Carlisle exclaims "please, let's not be rash"

"Tell him to come quickly with the other kings" I order "bring the elite guard, tell them this is no longer simple. Tell them you think the Cullens are creating an immortal child—Edward if you try to stop my mate I will end you brother or not"

Demetri pulls out his phone and quickly calls them, we all listen in. I have my whip out ready to strike "Ah! Demetri!" Aro exclaims happily "How is the mated life?"

"Aro" Demetri says, as I keep my eyes on them all "you, Caius and Marcus need to get down to Washington now. Bring the elite guard"

"Why?" He asks "what's wrong?"

"You need to see for yourselves" Demetri says "you won't believe me"

"Aro!" Carlisle exclaims "this is all"

"Be quiet!" I snap at him "another word from any of you about that thing and I'll destroy you all!"

"You need to come quickly" Demetri tells his former coven leader. Oh yes, Demetri is no longer apart of the Volturi.

Hanging up, Rosalie growls "Why did you do that?! They won't listen to us! It's an innocent baby!"

"If it was" Demetri snarls "that human would not look closer to death's door than she already is"

Rosalie looks at me "What if this was you Violet?" Oh that bitch better not even bring it up "didn't you try to protect your baby?"

"What baby?" Edward and Demetri both ask

Using my whip, I remove Emmett's head. Snatching it away from him and holding it as Rosalie covers her mouth screaming "If you" I warn her "value your mate, you will shut up. You'll get his head back after that human is dead dead or a vampire, not before" Esme brings a dry crying Rosalie into her arms.

"Our father did what?" Edward asks me

"Can we speak in private Demetri?" I ask, he nods his head and er go outside and up to a tree high above the Cullen house. Impaling the head of Emmett on some branch, I look at Demetri who sits next to me "I was pregnant before becoming a vampire—my father, my human father wasn't a good man. He valued wealth and status above anything and was abusive, my mother was kind and loving. They only married since my mom was raised to be very obedient and also she was really wealthy"

"What happened?" He asks

"The man I fell in love with, we shared one goodish night" letting out a chuckle "I mean it probably lasted for five minutes" Demetri snorts

"I'm sorry" covering his mouth

"It's okay" shaking my head "I laugh about it too—well me and Daniel, I ended up pregnant. When he found out he proposed and promised my parents that he'll do right by me and our baby, my father didn't like it while my mother was ecstatic. A few weeks later, a group of men—about seven men" some tears begin to well in my eyes, that I look out to the mountains "they grabbed me and Daniel, brought us to one of my father's properties. He gave Daniel the choice, Daniel said he would stay by me but my father didn't like it so the men began to beat me while my father had Daniel watch. He pleaded with them to stop, they kept beating me—everywhere, especially where the baby grew. I lost it" Tears are now running down my face, Demetri wraps his arm around me rubbing my shoulder "But Daniel wanted to stay, even if he couldn't give me anymore children after being castrated. So my father had the men...they" choking as I tell him this, a part of my life I never wanted anyone to know. Especially not my brother or mate "Daniel left then knowing that if he stayed then I'd be dead" this was the whole truth, something I've pushed aside for a long time.

"If your father wasn't alive" Demetri growls "he'd be dead"

"I killed the men who did what they did to me" I assure him "each one in a slow and painful way"

"Good" still snarling "they don't get to live after what they did"

"I sometimes visit my parents grave or more specifically my mother" I say "and then I'd go to the makeshift grave I had for my baby, once a year. Before it would have been constantly but now? It's once a year" looking down to where the Cullen house is "what do you think that thing is?"

"Not human" Demetri scoffs, pulling out his phone "all my friends from the Volturi are demanding I tell them what happened"
