-Elizabeth's POV-

I looked down at my dress, complete with long white lace. A handsome, welcoming smile met my eyes at the end of the aisle.

The priest did the normal words of blessing. And of course, "Speak now or forever hold your peace."

My father stood up. "I object! Elizabeth Jane Parker! You belong in an asylum!" His words rang in my ears.

Tyler took control. I watched as my body ran at the man. I watched as Tyler moved my arm up to my hairpiece. He grabbed hold of my father's shoulder and threw the sharp object into his stomach.

Blood began pouring from his puncture. I gasped for air as my body collapsed.

Die. You deserve nothing. You are a pile of flesh. A waste of space. You aren't even a whole person.

I pulled the sharp object from my father's corpse. I slid it across my wrist and down the middle of my arm.

I shall no longer be controlled by another conscience!

I woke up in a sweat. My heart beating fast and my lungs trying to grasp air, but failing.

I held my tray up searching for a table to sit and eat breakfast at. I bit my lip, scanning the room for a familiar face.

"Liz!"

I jerked my head towards the voice. It was Violet. I scurried over to the table and sat down across'd her.

"I have it!" Newt exclaimed as he slipped into the cafeteria table. "I have Liz's nickname!" I guess this was important to them. I sipped my orange juice as he proposed his nickname for me. "Switch! Like with her disorder!"

Scarlet nudged Violet. "Scar thinks it's too close to Stitches."

"Damn you're right."

"What about Tie? Like T.I.E." Stitches spelled out the letters. "Tyler Is Elizabeth."

"Too close to Ty. Like Tyler. It might pull him out of me. And he's.... aggressive." I muttered.

"Darn. I thought it was pretty good."

"What about Alien?" Blue perked up. "Like E.T.. Elizabeth Tyler?"

"I could go for E.T." Newt said. "Has a nice ring to it."

Before I finished my food, a nurse came by our table.

"Elizabeth?"

"Yes?"

"You have a Wristbands Program partner. And he's visiting today."

I nodded, having no idea what that meant. She skipped away.

"What did she say to me?"

"It means someone is going to visit you to get Community Service hours."

"Oh." As per usual, I was a pawn in someone else's game. Used like a plastic cup -emptied of everything I have, then thrown away when I'm useless to them.
