IT WAS A BUSY ATMOSPHERE for the people working on set as people finished up their last touches. Some working on lights, some checking on the cameras, and some fixing the black backdrop at the background. In the middle of the room was a much older LeBron James with much more prominent white strands on his hair and his beard. His head was lifted slightly up as one of the workers were clipping a small microphone on his T-Shirt.
LeBron immediately greeted him with thanks as he cleared his throat and straightened up his seat on the couch.
"Alright, we're all set. LeBron, can you do a bit of a mic test for me? Just wanna make sure we got audio before we start." Someone from behind the camera said.
"Hello, Hello, Is that good?"
"That is perfect. Thank you."
LeBron nods as he looks directly into the camera. He bites his nails before his head darts from another person entering the room and heads towards his direction.
The man smiles as he reaches his hand out, "Good morning, LeBron. In behalf of the team, we would like to thank you for coming here to do this. You're probably a busy man especially with the kids but I speak for all when I say we appreciate you sparing your time for this documentary."
"Oh, man, not a problem at all, thank you for havin' me." LeBron replied as he reciprocated the gesture and shook the man's hand.
The man sat down on his own smaller chair behind the camera but leveled in front of the retired NBA player.
"Alright, so before we begin with the more formal questions, I just wanna ask a few stuff if that's alright?"
"Fire away."
"Excellent!" the man said enthusiastically, "So, can you describe your whole dynamic with Y/N now? Since you both retired, have you guys started talking less?"
"Uh—actually, no. Not only have we not started talking less but we've been able to chat much more frequently." LeBron answered.
"That's great! What do you guys talk about?"
"It's funny you say that, we were just talking not too long ago about when me and him first matched against each other."
"Do you often talk about it?"
"Oh yeah." LeBron chuckled as did the interviewer, "Yeah he never seems to stop trying to boast about it. How he busted my ass and gave me 40. We'd be having a wholesome family gathering and he'd say it to embarrass me in front of everyone."
"That's Y/N for you."
"Yeah, for sure." Lebron chuckled.
"He's a cocky son of a— am I allowed to cuss?"
"Go ahead." The Interviewer assured.
"Yeah, he's a cocky son of a bitch— to no disrespect to his mother." The interviewer laughed at the joke, "But no, all that aside, he's my brother, man. We had tough battles there and there, we argued, we fought, but that's the type of brotherly relationship we had. It was always competitive and we kept pushing each other to the highest level. That's why I respected him so much even earlier on into his career."
