"Yo penis! Father's Day is this Sunday! What are you-oh wait! Your father's dead!" Flash snickers while his goons bursts into laughter.
Peter was almost out of the school. Last period just finished and he was going to go to meet Happy when Flash just had to find him.
"Aww is the orphan going to cry?" Max says.
"I'm sure that your fathers wishes that they're gift is for you all to disappear" Mj retorts as she comes up from behind Flash and his goons.
"Whatever. At least we have a father that didn't kill himself to get away from us" Flash rolls his eyes before they all walk away.
"Thanks Mj" Peter thanks.
"Where's Ned? Thought you two always stick together?" Mj questions.
"He went home sick" Peter answers.
"You know...Stark's like a dad to you" Mj brings up.
"What? No he isn't" Peter denies.
"Do we have to count the trackers and protocols again?" Mj wonders.
"That's just because May will kill him" Peter shrugs.
"Right...even though I don't like him all that much, I can see how much he cares for you. You should think about doing something" Mj suggests.
"L-like for Father's Day?" Peter questions.
"Yeah" Mj nods.
"He just sees me as his intern/mentee sorta thing" Peter claims.
"Sure he does, it's obvious" Mj insists.
"I..." Peter let's out a sigh. "I don't even know what to get him or if this like ruins what we have. What if he wants me to stop coming to the tower or-or takes back the suit?"
"You're overthinking it. Just make something for him, he'll like it" Mj assures.
"Thanks" Peter thanks.
"My moms here, cya loser" Mj says.
"Bye Mj" Peter waves.
Peter let's out a breath he didn't know he was holding when he remembered Happy was waiting for him. His eyes goes wide and quickly runs out of the school, practically throwing the door open when he gets to the car.
"I am so sorry Happy! I promise it won't happen again" Peter apologizes.
"You already broke that promise when you made it the last time" Happy grumbles.
"Sorry" Peter apologizes again.

"Alright kid, tell me what's up" Tony sighs as he spins his chair, looking at Peter.
Tony noticed ever since Peter came into the lab that something was up but thought if they were working on something, he'd feel better. Clearly, it hasn't worked because all Peter has been doing is staring into space.
"Sorry Mr. Stark, nothing's up" Peter apologizes.
"Kid, you can tell me anything" Tony assures.
That makes Peter look up when he remembers what Mj had said.
"I can see how much he cares for you" Mj had said.
Peters thoughts gets cut off when he hears Tony rambling on about how Peter can trust him and let him know when something is up.
"I umm just made Happy a bit mad because I came to the car late" Peter interrupts Tony.
"Is that why? Like the real reason?" Tony questions while giving him a look like he doesn't believe it.
"I mean...yes?" Peter replies but it comes out like a question.
"Ok well, Happy likes you kid. He just acts all annoyed to put up a front. He's a big old softie" Tony reassures.
"Like you? Pepper and Rhodey told me you're a huge softie" Peter smirks.
"Oh really because they're liars. You don't listen to anyone but me" Tony scoffs.
"They told me the same thing! Don't listen to anyone but them!" Peter smiles.
"Well you're my intern, not theirs so you don't listen to them" Tony amends.
"But Pepper's the boss" Peter recalls.
"But I'm on your boss" Tony claims.
"And Pepper is your boss" Peter replies.
"She is not my boss" Tony rolls his eyes.
"She tells you when you have meetings that she forces you to go to, she makes Friday shut the lab down when you're in here for too long, she-" Peter starts to list.
"Alright, alright" Tony interrupts.
"Boss, you have a mandatory meeting to go to tomorrow. Miss. Potts expects you to go" Friday announces.
Peter looks at Tony and smiles at him which just makes Tony roll his eyes again.
